Enjoyed a last minute week away in May 2019 at this adults only hotel. Lovely staff and pleasant clean room. Bit of noise from road but sea view lovely. Ask for high room. Virus in hotel on arrival but hand sanitizers available. Food quite good most evenings. Complementary meal in a la carte restaurant excellent. Recommend for older couples as average age was 70! Weather was poor but that was unlucky. Tui rep Katie good and trips excellent.More
Adult only hotel
Great position with comfortable rooms and very helpful staff but the food allthough pleasantenough could be better choice but we had a wonderful holiday and would happily stay here again.Hotel is by a busy road but did not create any problems we were on the 5th floor and had a Great view of the sea and the marina. Had a nice long weekend, stayed here rooms ok, food nothing special, but handy for a nice stroll along the front. Out the back gate and you are on the path that takes you right along the sea front to the harbour, were its nice to sit with a drink and a snack and watch the view.More
Yeah, it’s good but could be better
Great team - Nicola (volleyball) and Erick were amazing. All others were very nice but these two people went out of their way to make my partner and I happy. My Fiancé contracted a bowel infection and Erick, and the doctor, were a great help. Now Erick isn’t by any stretch a medical professional but he literally went to the other side of the resort for camomile tea and honey to see my good lady right when she couldn’t eat or drink much of anything (after a week she was very weak and just wanted to go home), otherwise when we asked for bottled water (as recommended by the doctor (£453) from any bars)) we were told no because it would be against the plastic recycling policy; so we had to find our friend Erick, who went out of his way to get us bottled water - of course we made sure the bottles ended up in the recycling bank but we had to work around the system to accommodate a sick person. Of course it’s not TUI’s fault my partner got sick but they could have done much more to have recognised our individual circumstances and been much more accommodating. As I was by myself and my partner was stuck for the most part in our hotel room next to the porcelain (through no fault of the hotel or food etc.) I had a strange experience as a person by myself where everyone else was coupled up, quite often I felt very isolated. 1st time visit
Just got back from a 10night break here and first time to this hotel and resort. Hotel is in a great position overlooking the sea and prom with great rooms which have plenty of wardrobe space and a lovely bathroom. Food was good but have had better at other 4 star hotels. Staff were very friendly and helpful. lots of differant areas outside to relax and soak up the sun and with a nice pool and great views. Hotel states it operates a sun bed policy but they dont as we found sun beds with towels on and no one on them for hours and hours. Also in the restaurant there is a fabourites policy where some guests get the window seats overlooking the prom no matter what time they go which is wrong. As good as the bathrooms are we found our maid not leaving bath mats, kept turning our shower spray the wrong way, Also the towels are not big and not very soft which we were suprised about for a 4star hotel. We didnt use the entertainment bar at all. All rooms overlook the sea but depending which side of the hotel your room is depends on when you get the sun. Ouir room was where we got the sun in the afternoon, the downside was we overlooked the car park and a busy main road which was very busy and noisey. Also noisey bars opposite which were very noisey and rowdy late on. We could not sit on the balcony much as being near the road we got terrible exhaust fumes which affected my wifes asthma. Benalmadena is very run down and needs some money spending on it. It also attracts many hen and stag parties which are very noisey into the early hours. we did like the marina area We will not be returning to the hotel and areaMore
