Royalton Blue Waters
This place is paired up with another hotel, the Royalton White Sands. Together, they've got seven à la carte restaurants, a giant waterpark and a handful of bars for you to enjoy.
You'll find the Royalton Blue Waters pulled up along a wafer-coloured beach on Jamaica's northern coast. It also counts a lazy river and a collection of private, poolside cabanas among its mainstays.
Since this place shares its waterfront setting with a twin hotel – the Royalton White Sands – you get two places for the price of one here. You're free to use the facilities across both hotels, which include eight restaurants, a waterpark and a chic spa.

The Not So Great Resort
Unfortunately, I do not have very pleasant things to say about this resort. I will not be recommending this resort as a place to book for vacation. Had the service been up to par, I would not even sit down to write this review. Aesthetically wise, the resort is pretty and has a homey feel to it. However, that is where it ends. From a less than stellar check-in process, to a crooked giant screen TV (which is a c'mon man... fix already), to too much info about the resort, provided in a very fast ramble, at check-in (after hours of travel), to a less than impressive buffet lunch, all of which we experienced within the first hour of arrival, the resort was already not holding up to what we expected for it's rating. The experience deteriorated from there. Although promised, 3 times that my bags would be brought to my room, I personally had to go down and retrieve our suitcases myself and all I got was a "nod" when the bellman saw me taking my bags. Staff was rude and understaffed as well. Clear preferential treatment to certain types of guests. Service was slow and/or non-existent. Requests were questioned too much vs serviced unconditionally. The food left ALOT to be desired; general organization of buffet, availability of dishes, selection, variety, taste and flavor were all lacking. Room service is not what I would expect for such a resort. Interestingly, there is no turn down service at this hotel. Perhaps I've been spoiled at other places I visited. Our bar was never replenished and requests for water never fulfilled for the duration of the stay. We were there for a wedding, which brought 200 guests onto the property. With the exception of the people that purchased day passes, none of our group were impressed with the treatment and the resort itself. A number of the staff incidents we experienced, were witnessed by a number of the members in our party, which doesn't land in favor for the resort. What I will say, is that there is a huge opportunity for this resort to be great, and it will have to start with their people. So, if I were to make a suggestion, it would be to train their staff to create an experience for ALL of their guests. Be approachable. Go the extra mile. Smile, and reach out. Don't pass the buck, and be helpful. Stop with the excuses, and stick with facts. Don't try to be right, when you are clearly in the wrong. Invite me back to blog a better experience, else, this was my first and last stay at this resort.More

On this vacation to RBW we had a great experience at the cabana area. The bartenders were everything. However there was one in particular name Berry! He was the best. If I were to go back to RBW I definitely be looking for Berry!!More
That best thing about this vacation was Berry the pool bar service man. He was so attentive, so inviting, so responsive to our needs. He had our drinks ready right when we needed them. He was so nice. Honestly if I come back here it would only be to have fun at the bar with Berry he was the best thing about this hotel.More
