Moon Palace Jamaica
The Moon Palace Jamaica's all about the numbers – it offers up four pools, five restaurants and six bars. And it's perched on one of the best beaches around.
This place is decked out in modern, elegant décor – rooms are dressed in off-white, and colour pops in the form of contemporary runners and artwork. It's a similar story outdoors, with brightly coloured loungers skirting the pools.
Ocho Rios’ longest sliver of sand is right outside, so you can reach the sea in just a few steps. The area’s waterfront shops, restaurants, and crafts market are less than a five-minute walk away.

my THIRD Visit but not the LAST!
Where do I start??? The SERVICE IS SPECTACULAR! Look for DAMIEN and RICHARD outside at the Bars, ELVIS who manages the Bars and CHRISTOPHER inside the Buffet! Have extra money to tip these fellas, because they go Above and waaaay Beyond anything you would want and need! The hotel is awesome with a winding pool and three others! Two Beaches full of beautiful shells and washed up corals! Two swim up bars! Several restaurants, Japanese Hibachi style, Seafood (although service is very slow out there, but be the heat), Buffet, etc! A Kids Space Club with Kid-friendly foods! An Awe-Spa with Shawna, the best back massager! Free calls to the USA from the hotel phones! Last, but No where near least...the excursions are amazeballs! The Booze Cruise aka Evening Catamaran Cruise takes you way out in to the ocean, serves Rum Punch and puts you in a life vest if you want to swim the open waters! Can anything get better than that? There are so many cool things to do with your credits!!!More

Spoiled Rotten by a Great Resort
We spent 17 days here and look forward to returning. The people in Jamaica were cheerful and friendly which made the trip especially fun. We were extremely pleased overall with how friendly the entire Palace staff was! The moment we arrived, we met Lulu in the Lobby, who was so helpful and friendly the entire trip, greeting us with a big smile and a hug. At the Lobby Bar, we loved visiting with Sabrina who made us feel so welcome, and Odan the bartender who was masterful and creative, and had several good suggestions. Louis and Hector in sales showed good enthusiasm whenever we met. While very pleasant and helpful, some of their employees do stand around in groups a bit- just chatting-while service can be slow at times in the restaurants. At first some of the cocktails were disappointing. But we soon learned it was the local rum they use; it is just our taste. When we requested Bacardi and other call liquors it made a huge difference. Our room was perfect! It was larger in size because we did get a Junior suite in building 1- just love it and the views. The food was very good! We determined more transparency in menu writing would be beneficial-often the food came out looking nothing like described, but it was very good. The breakfast buffet was very good, with exceptional bacon, and it’s been fun to try Jamaican fruits. Noyka was always there to assist as needed there. While there was a convention for a few days, we found eating an ala carte breakfast outside at Pier 8 was a much better choice-no wait and delicious! Alexander (the great) at Boulangerie was friendly, fun and always had a dessert or crepe suggestion, topping off our evenings! The evening entertainment is spectacular, showcasing their very talented Palace Entertainment Crew nightly, and we enjoyed a special evening with the Silver Birds Steel Band who were amazing and so much fun! The activities pool plays their music way too loud (as do the evening shows sometimes) so we opted to miss the fun there as did most adults without kids, (we think their staff must be unaware of how loud their microphones are). We did enjoy the other pool with a swim-up bar- very nice there, with great bartenders and music. A shout-out to Shyan for always smiling and putting a smile on everyone’s face. The beach is nice, the water is clear and smooth in the bay and there were many water sport activities to choose from at the North end. I would recommend this place to young families as the water at the beach is shallow, with no surf-very nice for small children. Kids play area by pool also looks fun. Lots of activities are available, and the SPA was awesome. I really enjoyed the Hydrotherapy tour and Citrus Massage. Access is very good for seniors and the handicapped-we have seen a few in wheelchairs Beach weddings are beautiful here too! You just cannot beat that sunset view, which shows as a light show-constantly changing color and shape. We found it especially nice to view from the Sun Deck while enjoying amazing Pizza and Pastas.More

Like a Cruise on Land!
JAAC Mission Trip Stay. Loved this place. Slept like a baby every night. Worked hard during the day providing free dental and nutrition services across Jamaica with JAAC which made returning to Moon Palace even sweeter. The staff were wonderful. Beds were heavenly. They have the elevators set up to prevent delays, always had something delicious to eat. Loved the Italian restaurant. Was not able to get a reservation to Momo the Japanese restaurant but I enjoyed the seafood restaurant. The steel drum band was wonderful. Shout out to Deonte, Richard, Hamonike, and David at the Sundeck bar. If you go, try a Bob Marley. All was irie. Only a 5 minute walk to both markets, Devons, and Juici Patties. Must get some Devons rum raisin ice cream.More
Excellent customer care and security
We enjoyed staying at the Moon Palace. Great effort is made to make guests happy and safe. I like the safety measures of the resort. There was security all over the resort ,a gate at the entrance and security check points before entering the hotel. Visitors were only allowed 45 minutes to stay in the lobby. The G.M. was very nice. We went to the Mo Mo restaurant and also went to the Hibachi dinner show another night. The list for the shows at the Hibachi restaurant gets filled really fast. You must call at exactly 9am to make a reservation. The food in the buffet was basically the same every day but there are several other options. There is also a Mexican restaurant, an Italian restaurant and a Seafood restaurant on the property at no extra cost. There is a Jerk area on the beach. There is a beautiful view of the cruise ships when they come in. There are lots of activities around the resort, including, swimming with the dolphins. One negative about the resort for me, is that I had a garden view room and I did not like that My room overlooked some roofs that were very ugly. I did not have a good view of any garden.I think that they should redo those roofs so that they look a little more appealing. Apart from that, the hotel was clean everywhere and there were enough drinks stocked in the room. Entertainment was okay.... lots of dancing and different shows every night. Overall, my family enjoyed our trip. . The hotel is clean and our room More
