This adults-only, 5-star hotel has a prime spot on one of the Caribbean’s most famous beaches.
The hotel is right on Negril’s famous Seven Mile Beach. Plus it’s set in 27 acres of tropical gardens with koi ponds.
Inside, the hotel dishes up a healthy dose of colonial style – think white linens and shuttered rooms. All the rooms have private balconies or patios, plus garden or sea views.

We loved Jamaica!
We are first timers just returned last night from our 5 night stay at CSA and thought it would be good to do a quick review. Thanks for all the help from this group, we felt very prepared for the trip. We will definitely be going back in the future and we see why so many people are repeat visitors to this fine resort! First of all, this was our favorite tropical vacation ever! We've been to Mexico several times at Cancun, Playa Del Carmen and Cabo San Lucas and we enjoyed this trip more than any of those. This resort is a very laid back place without the loud party music blasting all day. We loved that! Perfect for enjoying the natural beauty of the beach and the ocean. The staff was almost always super friendly and there is very little language barrier, (unlike sometimes in Mexco). Two nights we enjoyed spectacular Seven Mile Beach sunsets (the other nights, clouds moved in). We did experience rain on three days in the afternoons which washed out the beach activity, but there were plenty of places to escape the rain and have some drinks while we waited for the sun. We had absolutely no issues with bugs other than honey bees around the outdoor self-serve soda/juice stations at the grille. Seven Mile Beach: We can't say enough about this beach. It is a wide fine white sand beach with crystal clear water and lots of Palm trees for shade. The resorts groom the small amount of seaweed early each morning. It is the nicest beach we have ever seen, by far! Also, you can pick up a red flag (ask the beach bartenders where to get one) and just stand up the flag in the sand when you need a drink at your chair and you usually get prompt service. Security was very good on the resort and the vendors were never a problem for us. Travel: We did Club Mobay and oh my gosh... it paid off in a big way. On the arrival, immigration was backed up about 2 hours and we breezed right past it in 15 minutes and were on the Couples bus to Negil at least 1-1/2 hours before the others arriving without Club Mobay. The bus trips were a little over an hour from the airport to the resort. The drivers were very good tour guides full of information on local history. On the departure, the Club Mobay lounge was simply awesome! Lots of food and drinks whle waiting for our flight. We will always do Club Mobay in the future! Accomodations: We were in room 4318, a Beachfront Veranda Suite. The third floor views of sunset and the in-room breakfast on the veranda were simply awesome! Also, there was almost no noise at night except a few tree frogs and the sound of the waves breaking onto the beach. We notice on our nightime walks across the resort, the tree frog sounds and road noise were increasingly louder back at the Oceanview and Garden suite buildings. The sunset grill was steps from our building, very handy! Also, we highly recommend taking advantage of the in room breakfast each morning and be sure to have the Jamaica coffee (with Rum Creme). Be sure to order mini-bar drinks and you should definitely order Rum Creme! Restaurants and Bars: We never had a bad experience at any of the restaurants. • Lemongrass was surprisingly good, considering I am not a big fan of Thai Fusion food, the food and service were excellent. • Feathers was also very good food and service. • Palms had excellet service (probably our favorite of the restaurants), the food was very good and the entertainment was incredible. We loved the omelet station and the self-service mimosa station for breakfast. Also, my wife enjoyed trying local fruits, especially sweetsop and soursop. The band one night played Motown and oldies and the singer was a great performer. Another night we saw the fire handler and then the Silver Birds Steel Drum band. Incredibly entertaining. • Patios was good, not our favorite. The food was good, but the staff was not as friendly as the other restaurants. Don't miss the banana-stuffed french toast for breakfast! • Cabana Grill: We really liked their jerk chicken and onion rings. • Seagrapes: The fish tacos and humus dishes were delicious. The self-serve soft ice cream station was also very nice. Excursions/Water Sports: We only did the sunset Catamaran Cruise to Rick's Cafe. It was very fun, even in the rain.More
Perfect Honeymoon Destination
This is the first long vacation we ever took as a couple, and it was perfect for our honeymoon! The food was amazing, the resort was astonishing, and the service was excellent! We were planning our next trip before we even left!More
Our room was amazing. We loved the relaxing atmosphere and the open air concept. The staff was excellent as always. This was my 6th trip to Couples. It was my fiances first trip to Jamaica or any of the Couples resorts. She loved it. Looking forward to our next trip to Couples in the future. If anyone wants to have a truly superb vacation, Couples is the place to go. Couples Swept Away was a very romantic resort. I do miss the entertainment staff livening things up bit.More
Highly recommended. The food was excellent, friendly but competent and professional service, several free activities, beautiful rooms and great choice of beverages. We were at the couples Swept Away resort in Négril, Jamaica over Saint Valentine's Day and the decorations were out of this world. We totally enjoyed our vacation.More
Great Location, VERY Poor Service, So-So Food
This was our first time in Jamaica. Our daughter goes every year and stays at a different Couples resort each time. She has never stayed at this one "Couples Swept Away". We wanted to stay there because of the seven mile beach - which was amazing. We were told this is a "NO TIPPING" resort. My daughter told me if we tip someone they could be fired. So we did not tip once at the resort. Well, someone should tell the staff it is a non tipping resort. Most of the staff was so rude it was unbelievable!! I ordered room service for breakfast the first morning and the young man that brought the tray up was not happy to be at work at all! I opened the door, he kind-of grunted. I asked him to put it on the table - he did then said "Put the tray outside when you are done". That was it. But I ordered one more time and the young lady that delivered the tray was so sweet. "Good Morning, Enjoy your breakfast, Have a nice day....etc" and with a smile. It just depends on you delivers your food. With the boat captain, Julian (he calls himself King Julian), he was super nice on the glass bottom boat ride at 9:30 am. But the next day on the 1:30 snorkel trip it was a different story. He was not rude --- just not friendly at all. I guess he knew we were not tipping him. Be careful when walking on the sidewalks throughout the resort. If an employee is pushing a cart -- get out of the way because they are not stopping, or slowing down at all. That happened at least everyday to us. The rooms are really nice - a real Jamaican feel. We stayed in the atrium rooms. The balconies are large with a couch, table and hammock. protected with tons of plants and trees for privacy. If you go to Lemon Grass or Feathers restaurants you will be happy. Food is great and the staff is wonderful..... But the Palm is a different story. You can ask for something (like butter) four or five times and NEVER get it. At breakfast it wasn't until I got loud and asked is anyone going to put the butter out did the bowl of butter come out from the back. At dinner one night the waitress broke a glass right behind me that shattered under my seat and by my feet. That glass was not cleaned up - I had to get up and walk around the broken glass when dinner was over. I called the front desk because one of the lights next to our bed had gone out. The response I got was... "There is no power to those lights". I told her they worked yesterday. So she finally agreed to send someone up to change the light bulb. At the bar the bartenders were too busy talking amongst themself to bother helping us. Then when I ordered a drink (blended daiquiri) that was too much work for them to make they helped everyone else at the bar before even starting my drink. At Seagrapes Restaurant (the vegan shack) we tried to order fish tacos to go.... NO, you have to sit and then she would come take our order. I told her we didn't want to sit we wanted to eat them on the beach. She finally took our order but was not happy about it. Most places we went the staff was more interested in talking to each other than to the customers. Now the Cabana Grill and swim up bar is a totally different story. All the staff were wonderful, friendly and actually wanted to help us. My advise to you when you go to this resort is to stick with Lemon Grass, Feathers, and the Cabana Grill for food options. As far as a bar... go to the bar right next to the Cabana Grill. We will go back again just with lower expectations. I don't need people to be nice to me or my guests... but most resorts we go to they are.... so we were caught off guard. The beach is amazing, having all the water sports included was the best thing for us. We paddled boarded, snorkeled, kayaked, sailed, etc.... The beach is beautiful, you an walk forever and the water is warm and crystal clear. As long as you don't expect the staff to treat you well you will have a good time.More
