On my first evening at the hotel, I attempted to be seated at the ONLY restaurant that was open for dinner after a long day at the airport. I was wearing a scarf dress and the gentleman that was seating guests refused me because it was a "swim cover." I went back to my room and changed into another dress. When I was seated, I saw a woman with an obvious swim cover and another in a swim top with shorts that were already seated. So far, Jamaican hospitality is missing at this hotel.More
Very disappointing not relaxing
My partner and i arrived on 12th March were we went to the bar and ordered a Chocolate martini each, We drank 8+ plus each but we were not drunk at all after a 9 1/2 flight with a empty stomach im a Tee total 100% NON drinker bar on holidays drinker so that shows you how watered down the drinks were. We ventured out to the local shopping center and returned saying that we would do that again later that week. We noticed the loud music that didn't stop until 5 -6 Pm Then at 7.30 the pre show with music Started, Then the entertainment started from 8.30-9pm until 12am (LOUD again) it was so load that we had to turn our tv up to drown out the sound . We were then told that we couldnt leave the complex as CORONA VIRUS was reported. We then went to the beach for Jerk chicken. The chicken was being served between 11-1pm i went to the hut to find no one serving, 30 Minutes later the server returned . When we were sunbathing i heard a whistling by someone trying to sell weed, and then someone selling stuff out of a canoe on a PRIVATE RESORT Security DID NOTHING to stop the whitelisting or drug selling.so we moved closer to the pool and then loud music was being played for hours. We then went to the room where we could still hear loud music again. We then heard shouting and screaming, we looked out of the patio to see a foam party happening (see photos). I didn't realize that this was a 18-30 Holiday!! We later went to the restaurant where i saw a dish without a marking saying what it was, i was then told it was FISH!! GOOD JOB I DID'NT HAVE A FISH ALLERGY!! We noticed people were tipping the staff alot and by doing so they were being served FIRST!! Breakfast was REHEATED Bacon etc. THE CORONA VIRUS cases where reported so hotels were being closed, so more people were coming to our resort , We were told that we had to move to another resort but had to agree to the move by 5pm. I Agreed and was told what time to leave by. The next day I was then told that the resort i had agreed to, had closed down. We were then told the next day that we had to leave on the last TUI flight. Breakfast the next day was reheated AGAIN, so REHEATED that if you put your fork in it is would make a crunch noise as if you broke the plate, so i moved my dish to toast as i would make that fresh. The food choices got less and less. The staff were hanging around in groups 6 people + their attitude was terrible as they knew they were closing. so labeling the food or helping was out of the window. I just wanted to go home,This was my first ever ALL inclusive holiday ill never forget and will never return to this resort.More
Really enjoyed ourselves me and the wife came here felt very safe annd welcomed, the food was 10/10 the people and entertainment was 10/10 we honestly cant wait to go back and we would personally recommend it to everone!!!More
We arrived 9th March, for 2 weeks and were there during lockdown. The staff were amazing, keeping us happy and entertained. The entertainment team were so professional and energetic. The shows were outstanding. There were 5 restaurants, the food was excellent. The waitresses and waiters bringing drinks and topping them up. Our flight was the last scheduled flight out of Jamaica and the hotel was closing the day after. The staff were still singing while they worked, even though they were losing their jobs. I can't fault anything about our break and hope to go back one day.More
