Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa
This easy-on-the-eye hotel's in a secluded spot between a beach and mountains.
This luxe hotel was once an 18th-century sugar plantation. It’s right on the beach, just 20-minutes’ drive from Montego Bay.
The site may be old, but the amenities are state-of-the-art – you’ve got a championship golf course and a themed waterpark. Then there’s the à la carte Italian with an outdoor terrace.

Recently had my wedding at this hotel with over 100 people, which is considerable considering the location. I arrive to find out 2 days before that the areas they planned for us wouldn't fit the group. Instead of offering solutions the planner just offered the information as fact. So my wife and I had to re-plan a wedding 2 days before which was quiet stressful. There were plenty of other issues, but who has the time. I would not recommend having any event at this hotel.More
Don't Miss Out!
This all-inclusive experience was one of the best my husband and I enjoyed. We will be returning for the excellent views, the fresh food and the relaxed atmosphere. When you make it, be sure and seek out Ms. Chancie in the Main Restaurant. Her service is par excellent!More
Do not stay here with children. They will add on a rate in addition to you booked amount that is not stated on the website or at booking. They will not show you how they determine the charge amount for children and will not let you into the hotel until you pay what they have added on to the price. They added on $1000 to our stay and there was no listing on our confirmation from the hotel or the app that they would want more beyond the confirmed amount. Management would not speak with us to explain the charge and upon check in, we couldn't leave because they had already billed the agreed up amount. We tried to speak with Hilton in the US and it went no where. It's a scam and we felt swindled. We will never stay at another Hilton hotel. The hotel rooms and food are average. Stay elsewhere.More
I read many not so nice reviews before I went but you cant pay attention to those, this is a wonderful hotel exceptional staff and the food is incredible! The staff makes this place, a special shout out to tasha lee and Omarie from fresh we didnt get their section every night but they made their way over to say hello. Also Shanta from the cabanas, these people went way our of their way to please us. Special kudos to them they became friends, they would be the reason we will return. The rooms are adequate, clean and cleaned daily. The cons...the restaurants get booked up early, we went to the one on the golf course I got a very generous portion of crab legs but you pay for your own drinks and they were $$$$. We ate at the buffets the rest of the nights which changed daily and was fresh clean and delicious. To find something to complain about you would have to try real hard! I would have to say the lazy river was really crowded with kids and the bar was very hard to get a drink at, don't plan on sitting all day at a stool its madness, we got a cabana at a pool with gold membership it was 54.00 a day and well worth it, if you dont get a cabana you steps from the bar. Dont pay attention to negative reviews and try and find Tasha-lee and Omarie at fresh. And sat hello from CJ and Dennis. More
Wonderful relaxing stay!
The Hilton Rose Hall is a wonderful resort. The property is clean and beautiful, there are plenty of activities, food and drink is good and plentiful and the staff and service are warm and outstanding. Favorites - floating on the relaxing lazy river, going down the water slide, swimming in the ocean, the spa, the views, tennis, walking the golf course and the staff. Mario is a great tennis pro, patient and very knowledgeable. He gave me great tips for my game and I highly recommend him. The massages at the spa were top notch. Highly recommend getting an oceanfront room. My wife and I were in room 404. Very quiet and clean. Being able to go out on the balcony and watch the ocean was a big plus. The golf course walk is great for exercise - you need to like hills and you get a great workout. The bar overlooking the pool is a great place to have a drink and look out over the ocean. Jerk hut and juice bar are absolute musts. Food is very good and plentiful. Mangoes steakhouse was our favorite restaurant for dinner, followed by Seaside. BBQ night and Jamaican night buffets were great. The drums and dancing on Jamaica night were incredible as were the steel drum entertainment on Friday. Finally, the staff here are just so warm, friendly, gracious and hard working. They felt like family and the one love, ya mon vibes were real and made us feel very cared for. Tipping is much appreciated. All in all a great vacation and place to relax and rejuvenate!More
