Standout views. Three stylish restaurants. And a glamorous pool scene. It’s no wonder so many guests return to the Hotel Bristol year after year.
Perched on a cliff above Marina Grande, this family-run hotel is in a prime position for some of Sorrento’s best views. What’s more, it’s just a 10-minute downhill walk into the heart of town.
Bedrooms here are elegantly styled. Big beds take centre stage, while painted floor tiles and brightly coloured soft furnishings add a chic but homely feel.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was immaculate and the view breath taking. Very short walk to the town centre. The meals are extremely good and the menu changes daily. Will definitely return.More
What is there to say that hasn’t been said in other reviews, location, staff, cleanliness & charm a plenty, a wonderful hotel in a beautiful part of the world. We cannot recommendation this hotel highly enough More
Once again just perfect. The views are the best of any hotel in Sorrento. Food great lunch in La Pergola was wonderful thanks to Vincenzo very attentive. Breakfast is buffet style you can order eggs cooked as you like. The pool bar offers lots of light meals with friendly staff special thanks to Noon who was always there with a smile. The pool and sun terrace is also very well organised clean with plenty on beds and chairs. It’s about a 10 minute walk into Sorrento town nice stroll. Rooms are very clean and housekeeping is excellent. Reception staff will help and assist with any excursions and taxis you would like to take. Special thanks for another wonderful stay to Salvatore and Antonio hope to see you all again next year.More
We booked this hotel following a recommendation and are so glad that we did.Reception staff are all charming and helpful and a prior request for a room on a high floor had been allocated. We had room 810 with a huge terrace and sun loungers and we loved sitting on the bistro table taking in the amazing view of Vesuvius.Housekeeping did an excellent job and it was lovely to have a turn down service in the evening. We would use the bar before dinner and the view from there is of Marina Grande. The barmen were very attentive and served canapés with our drinks. The rooftop pool was never very crowded, always plenty of sunbeds and the daily complimentary pool towels were dispensed by a friendly lady. However the water temperature was too cold for us!!! The restaurant staff are amazing.Sergio welcomes you in with a smile and a wave and where possible seats you close to the window to take in the fantastic view which is of Marina Piccolo. We ate from the table d'hote menu which had plenty of choice(and having allergies I have to be fussy) but there was also an a la carte restaurant. All the staff were excellent but a special mention to Luca who always endeavoured to get my husband's fried egg cooking preferences understood by the chefs. And also the charming wine sommelier Carmino. We really enjoyed our week and would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Bristol.Next time we visit the Amalfi coast we will be staying again.More
Excellent staff and accommodation, couldn't have made a better choice Well worth a stay The food was top class apart from some meat dishes and breakfast bacon being over salted The calamari crisoy squid was overcooked to the point it was like rubber, a dish to avoid. To be fair it was replaced but still overcooked and I was then offered an alternative dish.More
