Grand Hotel Aminta
This hotel has a pool, a smart restaurant and a terraced bar – all united by breathtaking views.
This hotel is set on a hillside with views that drop down to the coast and sweep across the bay to Mount Vesuvius. It feels like a quiet retreat, though the courtesy bus gets you to Sorrento in about 10 minutes.
The restaurant combines fantastic views with award-winning food. There’s a bar that hosts live music a couple of times a week and has a terrace overlooking Sorrento. Last but not least, there’s a decent-sized pool.

Grand Hotel Aminta was a wonderful hotel. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed all of the amenities which were well maintained. The pool man was especially helpful and friendly, always looking to make our stay at his pool enjoyable. We had breakfast everyday at the restaurant and found it varied and of good quality. Dinner was excellent and again, the staff was so helpful and friendly. It was obvious they took great pride in there facilities. We stayed in an annex room with a wonderful view of the ocean. The room was spacious although some space for toiletries or a hook in the bath would help. Tough to do in a small bath - there is only so much space. The location is away from Sorrento but there is a shuttle that runs regularly. It would be nice if it had a later last pick up and went to the train station. Again, that is minor and I'm sure there is a reason. Overall, a wonderful hotel with a great staff. We will return.More

Property and Service review
The service in the hotel was very poor the staff were not very friendly or helpful. The food was a disapointment as we expected a lot more Italian food but were served mostly meat and veg english style. Our room was very small and compared to the hotel which i used in July which was 3 star this hotel was much worse. Building works were carried out during the day which was noisy. No condiments on the tables you had to ask for them. No water on the tables for dinner. No coffee after dinner was offered. Pools beds broken which caused me to fall to the floor. No entertainment. Beautiful, relaxing hotel
Had a balcony room 314 with beautiful sunset views. Everything about the hotel was excellent, food & service in the resteaurant, thank you Earnesto, pool area wonderfully looked after & first class courtesy bus to Sorrento. Only negative was lack of entertainment. On Neapolitan night duo were very good as were the dancers but finished at quater to nine. We went to pool bar where tv was playing football with no one watching. Any live entertainment provided would have payed for itself many times over.More
Great hotel staff really friendly and helpful. Great location with fantastic views. Would definitely stay there again. We had bed and breakfast which was also good plenty of choice. Great free shuttle bus in to town. More
