Just like its name suggests, the Central Hotel puts you within easy reach of Sorrento’s sights – you can walk or take the free shuttle bus.
Sorrento’s main square, Piazza Tasso, is a 15-minute walk from this place. Or you can hop on the hotel’s free shuttle bus, which drops guests off at the nearby train station for daytrips.
You’ll walk into an elegant lobby, with marble floors, antique French-style chairs and a starlit ceiling. But the hotel’s biggest highlight is a rooftop terrace with panoramas of Mount Vesuvius.

LOVELY OLDER HOTEL
No glitz here. No water front location either. This is just a very nice hotel just a little east of the resort town. Friendly front desk staff, it is a nice lobby with a bar and lounge area and a restaurant to the left. Nice clean rooms with no frills. The bar area served excellent drinks from a staff that worked from the bar to the restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay here.More
Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff
Stayed here for half board for one week. The reception and restaurant staff were always very polite and very helpful throughout our stay. The food provided was delicious, the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and menu for the evening meal changed daily. The hotel was very well presented and our rooms were cleaned daily. The hotel gym was a much better standard than most hotel gyms, with a wide range of equipment. I would highly recommend this hotel and would defiantly stay again.More
Stayed at this lovely hotel for 5 nights with my daughter as her friend was getting married in Sorrento. Location is perfect. Yes it's located on a busy road but once inside you cannot hear any traffic. Reception area is beautiful as is the restaurant. Pool area is also excellent. Food and cocktails were very good and there is 25% off cocktails during certain times. Room was quite small but not a problem for us as we only needed it to sleep in and get ready but bathroom was a good size. Plenty of choice for breakfast. We didn't get chance to eat an evening meal in the restaurant due to our busy schedule but menu looked amazing. To get to the main square took about 15 minutes to walk which we did several times a day but there's so much to see. Hotel is spotless as was the pool area. All staff were helpful and polite. Didn't get chance to use the gym as it was closed on several days. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again on my next visit.More
