Art Hotel Gran Paradiso
It’s all in the name at the Art Hotel Gran Paradiso – the views are out of this world, and each room has its own artwork.
Outlooks don’t get much better than the one at this place. The property’s nestled into a hillside, so it watches over the Bay of Naples. Better still, it’s easy to get down to the town centre via the hotel shuttle.
Everything’s been designed to make the most of the scenery here – and rightly so. Whether you’re relaxing poolside or watching the sunset from the restaurant terrace, you’re guaranteed a perfect panorama.

Fun and relaxing...resort feel!
The Art Hotel Gran Paradiso was a perfect place to end our two-week vacation in Italy, as the weather was hot and we were tired. Our room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean, with a large terrace/balcony offering a beautiful view. The hotel is decorated in wonderful pieces of contemporary (slightly wacky) art, which I loved. The pool is beautiful (albeit unheated) and food and drinks were offered both indoors and outdoors. My husband and I had pre-arranged boat tours to Capri and the Amalfi Coast, and I ventured out on my own to Pompeii...wonderful to be able to take breaks from touring to lounge by the pool, and have a drink/snack at the outdoor bar. A nice breakfast buffet was served every morning, and one can eat outside (unless one is bothered by bees) or inside. The service was friendly and accommodating...both my husband and I (separately) managed to suffer "spills" on our shirts, and the staff literally RAN to the laundry room to have them tended to (with perfect results!). Only 2 drawbacks: (1) the hotel is located on the top of a hill with a death-defying road down to the town; the hotel offers free shuttle-vans, but it means that one is tied to the shuttle schedule; and (2) the food offered at dinner is only "average," and a trip into town for a good dinner means coordinating with the shuttle-schedule or spending $35-40 for a taxi (each way). All-in-all, though, we had a very enoyable stay.More
Had a fantastic stay at this hotel, made more pleasant and enjoyable by the wonderful staff, cannot thank them all enough. Shuttle bus into town was a god send due to where hotel is located. That said the view from our balcony was stunning. Can recommend and will definitely be back again. James and kim Brown More

Fabulous hotel, fantastic location
This is the place to stay in Sorrento. Beautifully clean hotel throughout and very pleasant, accommodating staff. We had a room with sea view. Large balcony and double walk-in shower a bonus. All the staff were friendly and even the cleaners said good morning if you passed them in the corridor. Perfectly quiet at night for restful sleep. Courtesy bus into Sorrento was excellent. Altogether a perfect stay and we were so lucky with the weather late in the season.More

One night stay
Room was musty and we had to spend the entire night with the balcony door open. Water pressure and temperature are great. The porter was awesome through. Driver of shuttle service on the way into Sorrento was great too. Whilst we were attempting to get checked in, another guest approached the front desk to check out and the guy waved them to someone else who was already busy but provided no apology or explanation. He seemed jaded by tourists.More
This hotel is an amazing place to stay. Breathtaking view over the Neapolitan bay and Mount Vesuvius, good food, very good rooms and staff that is ready to fulfill all desires of guests. I highly recommend this hotel.More
