Grecotel Eva Palace
The Grecotel Eva Palace counts a scenic setting, a palm-fringed pool, and a couples-focused spa among its best bits.
This place is set on an exclusive, pine-cloaked peninsula. It’s spread out across lots of levels, connected by rustic stepped pathways and well-tended lawns, which lead down to a secluded sand-and-shingle cove.
The hotel’s interiors team classic whitewashed walls with furniture in shades of cream and magnolia. Rooms have the same colour scheme, and feature 4-poster canopy beds.

Lovely holiday and a beautiful hotel !!
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel. Our bungalow was lovely and clean. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We celebrated our wedding anniversary while we were there, and they kindly put a cake in our bungalow, it was a lovely surprise ! The girls in the spa were amazing when we went to the gym and had a sauna, We had an amazing couple massage ( wish we could go back for another one !!).The entertainment manager Gianis was so very friendly, and all the restaurant staff especially Petros and Sotoris the restaurant managers. The food was amazing to . The lady in the jewellery shop Chrysothalia was so friendly, we still keep in touch with some of the staff now. We loved Corfu and hopefully we can come back one day to see you all we made so many lovely friends there.More
This was a very relaxing, enjoyable holiday. A better hotel we could not have wished for. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and could not do enough for us from the Managers to the room maids. The choices of food were varied and well cooked. Entertainment was provided every night. Can’t wait to return.More

Almost perfect, just needs a couple of tweaks
I’ve just spent a week with 2 friends at the Eva Palace. We originally booked a bungalow but were reassigned a room in the main building when it was realised that a bungalow couldn’t accommodate 3 adults. The hotel grounds are glorious; lots of colour and fragrance and meandering brick paths that take you to the lovely little beach. However, anyone with mobility issues or even low fitness levels will struggle to get around. Nature lovers will really enjoy the Eva Palace. Every night we sat and listened to the Scops owls that live in and around the resort, we even saw a fleeting glimpse as we were sat at the pool bar on our last night! There were also bats, lizards, Tawny owls, jays, buzzards, goldfinches, swallows, swifts and house martins whose nests you can see all over the hotel. The Eva Palace has a sustainability strategy - you’ll see notices about being mindful of the water you use, how often you change towels etc but the bar still issues plastic straws so I think there’s still some way to go. You’ll also see cats. As I have 2 at home I very much welcomed this but was dismayed to see that some were clearly unwell. When I asked staff where I could get help for 1 cat in particular I was told that they didn’t know. None are spayed/neutered and there is a desperate need to address this. Perhaps a tactical action for the sustainability strategy is a commitment to cat wellbeing e.g. partnering with a local welfare group and participating in a TNR programme (Trap, Neuter, Release) so that the hotel customers who want to do so can spend time with cats who are healthy and thriving? There is only 1 pool at Eva Palace, the loungers are great, really comfortable but towards the end of our stay capacity was an issue. Not a problem for us as we were up and out early but those people who came to the pool from 10am onwards struggled. It might help to prevent people putting towels on loungers at dawn then not laying on them until much later in the morning! No lounger service around the pool which seemed odd given its 5* rating but the bar is close so it wasn’t a problem. Food is lovely, lots of choice and each evening has a theme. As part of our AI package we booked a table at La Contessa which was a real high point. The food was the best a la carte I’ve had while on holiday and the view, looking out over the beach and watching the sun set, really makes for a special meal. One thing to note - on checking out you will need to pay a €28 ‘resort fee’. It wasn’t mentioned to us on arrival and we couldn’t find it mentioned in any of the information provided by TUI. Judging by the reactions of guests who checked out after us this came as an unpleasant surprise and one couple openly challenged it. All in all a great week - just show some compassion for the cats and get rid of the plastic.More
Lovely hotel with super views
Just returned from a relaxing week. Travelled as a group of 3 friends, sharing one room. We had originally booked a bungalow but then a few months before travelling was contacted by TUI to say we would be allocated a room in the main hotel as the bungalows did not sleep 3 people. The room was lovely, with views over the bays. It contained one double bed and 2 singles. This was a plus since one of the group was not left to sleep on a sofa bed. The single beds were a bit hard but after raising this as an issue with reception a mattress topper was quickly supplied. The room also initially smelt of smoke (we were not sure if this was coming through the air conditioning) Again this was addressed quickly using a plug in air freshener and did resolve the issue. Food is pretty good, always plenty of choice and well presented. Also liked that you could have wine by the bottle and not just by the glass. It was one of the friends birthday and so we ate in the La Contessa to celebrate. The staff presented her with a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake which was a nice gesture. The meal was also very good here. The grounds are lovely and well maintained but there are a lot of steps, I'm not sure how some guests managed to get around. The pool area is very nice and the loungers are so comfortable. It wasn't too busy when we first arrived but by the end of the week it was getting busier, it did not seem that there would be enough lounge space for all guests. As occurs at most hotels there was some reserving of loungers. This is so annoying!, especially when there are towels put on loungers by 7am but then no one arrives until 10am! Maybe the hotel could monitor this?? All the staff that we encountered were friendly and would often remember your favourite drinks or how you liked your coffee in the morning. Sitting in the pool bar on an evening you get to see some amazing sunsets. You can also see bats and listen to the owls but as animal lovers we were upset to see the health of some of the cats around the resort. I realise not everyone likes cats, especially coming into restaurants but in light of the hotels sustainability/environmental plan could something be done to improve the health and wellbeing of these animals??? After seeing one poor cat in a terrible state we spoke to a member of reception staff regarding any local animal charities- they did not seem to be aware of any. No TNR programmes, the cats were obviously suffering with fleas, ear mites (causing them to scratch and giving them terrible sores) and worms. We wished we had taken out some flea treatment to give the cats a small amount of relief. We have been to hotels across Greece and the islands that work with local charities and vets to improve the health and wellbeing of cats, spay and neuter and set up feeding stations. Please have some compassion for these cats, I hope the hotel can consider how their lives can be improved.More

Amazing Holiday, Beautiful Location
This is our 4th stay at Eva Palace and it is never disappointing. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. No matter what questions you have they are always happy to try and assist. I think this is one of the busier times we have stayed, usually visiting out of season early May or October. I still found that staff remembered your face and took time to be friendly. The Hotel is lovely. We were very lucky to be able to spend a few nights in one of their Villas, with a private pool, overlooking the hotels private beach. The rooms were cleaned regularly to a very high standard. My husband and I felt very spoilt in such a beautiful villa with so much space to ourselves. When we first arrived we stayed in a lovely room in the main hotel building, this was also stunning, with lovely views out to the sea. I was a bit concerned I would hear the nights entertainment, however this was not an issue at all. On arrival there was a bottle of wine and fruit, which is always a lovely touch to start the holiday. We went all inclusive and got given a premier card. This allowed free snacks, meals and drinks throughout the day. The quality of the food is fabulous. We have stayed on other resorts at 5* and the buffet food has not been 5*, but here the quality and variety is amazing! The Chefs and kitchen staff do an amazing job. One thing we do love about this hotel is the beautiful gardens. The gardeners work on them all day and the variety of flowers and trees really set off the location. The hotel has two sister hotels very near by with a little speedboat to drop you off every hour throughout the day if you would like to enjoy the facilities or night entertainment their. Even without the boat it is a very short walk to both. This is a great idea. Overall we came back as happy as ever and will definitely return! Thank you xMore
