Hotel Louis Corcyra Beach
This place is right on the beach, and it’s just a 5-minute walk from Gouvia’s bars and shops.
The Louis Corcyra Beach is set in neatly-clipped gardens, which serve up views of pretty Gouvia Bay. It's just a flight of steps from a pebble beach, too, which is dotted with sunloungers and palapas.
Daytrips to Gouvia's centre are a breeze - it's only five minute's stroll to reach the lively line-up of shops, bars and restaurants. The island's capital, Corfu Town, is only 15 minutes' drive away, as well.

The location of this hotel is amazing, the views from the hotel and grounds either across the bay or to the marina are fantastic. The room we stayed in 846 was a 2nd floor room over looking the gardens and the upper pool. It was a family room with double sliding doors to separate the double bed from the 2 single beds.It also had a small balcony. The room was very clean and the cleaners kept the hotel spotless. The pools were very good with plenty of sunbeds, although you always get the towel out early brigade lol. The staff through out the hotel were excellent and friendly Food was excellent and we always had a good variety. The all inclusive drinks (as usual not strong ) were on until midnight. There were bars in the hotel main area, at both pools and a beach bar. there is a small shop on site although you only have to walk out the hotel and you have a variety of shops, restaurants and bars very close by. The bus to Corfu is only a 5 min walk away and takes 20 mins to get there for 1.70 euro each way per person or you can go by boat for about 15 euro, takes about 45 mins. I always think to myself would i go back to a hotel and in this case i would most definitely. We had a fantastic holiday at this hotel.More
Good hotel with beautiful views
I traveled with my mom for a week holiday. We picked this hotel since it offered all inc with reasonable price and is close to Corfu town. The views from the hotel are incredibly good, especially early in the morning when the sun is just rising. The restaurant terrace is nice place to sit, but beware, there are lot of wasps and bees. These seem to be all over the island though, so if you are allergic, make a note. The gardens are beautiful, but there are lots of narrow and steep paths. Make a note if you need a wheelchair or have a pushchair. The room was 328, which is the far end of the area. You could actually hear the Gouvia bay restaurants' music from the terrace. The beds were hard enough so my mom with back pains was really happy. The room was little dated, but functioned well for us. It was nice that air conditioning could be changed ourselves. The room was cleaned daily (they even changed the bed sheets every day!) and the cleaners also brought a bottle of water every day. The food was good enough. It is probably not the greatest culinary experience of all time, but there was plenty of food, all the allergens were marked (or you could ask) and food was hot and tasted good. Sometimes there was not enough spices, but it easy to add more. There was an opportunity to build your own salad and every meal also had traditional Greek options. The staff was also helpful. Hint, if you want to pick your own table, arrive early when the meals start. The staff only starts seating people after an hour or so. It also means less people cutting in lines and less waiting. The lunch box was good too, juice, water bottle, sandwiches, apple and cake. Plenty to eat before you find a restaurant. Drinks are nothing extra special, but I did not notice anything to be watered down. White and rose wine were the best ones. You can usually take coffee, tea, beer, sodas and juices from the machine, except on the beach bar. Both pools also had a bar and in the afternoon they had the snacks and ice creams. Vanilla ice cream is the best one. The pools are obviously not heated, so the sea was actually warmer to swim in. All places had enough sunbeds, but of course this was early September, so it might be harder to get one in the summer time. There was shade too, which is nice. Lagoon had lot of people with small children, and the main pool has all the animation team activity. The animation team was good, they were always walking around and asking people to join the activities. The evening shows were hit and miss, some are done by animation and are looking little "home made" and others are really good, like acrobatics and Il Divo copy. Sometimes the music was so loud, I needed ear blugs It seemed that some evening activities were cancelled, since it was September and there are little bit less people in the hotel. The beach is man made, so you have to use stairs to access the water. Water is also not clearest, since this is the Gouvia bay. Water is shallow, but it is not for the smallest of children, which also means the beach is quiet, since it mostly has older people suntanning. Also make a note, there are lots of boats going, so nice waves and also planes are flying right above the hotel when they leave the Corfu airport. Now my biggest problem: the check-in. It was quite bad. We arrived already by 10 am. This of course meant that our room was not ready. We were given the all inc bracelets and told that room would be ready by 1 pm. Then we were advised to take breakfast. That was it. We were not given any info about the all inc, or the beach towels. We had to ask the towels and we only received the information about all things included to all inc after we received our room. The luggage was also left to doorstep, and not in any locked room. People were constantly coming and going and I find it hard to believe that they would notice if a any went missing. This meant that we spend most of the first morning sitting in the lobby. Nice air con though. Also, when we received the room, we were told to just leave the luggage and the portiere would bring it. It was just the time of their siesta, and we were quite tired of sitting and waiting, so we ended up going back and picking the luggage ourselves. They could have but the luggage to locked room, told us where we could change clothes and offered us the beach towels immediately. Also they could have given the info leaflet about all inc, so we would have known the meal times and the drinks that are included. There is a bus stop on the main road and you can get to Corfu town in half an hour. I definitely recommend that. There are some small shops and restaurants in Gouvia, but most of these are full of tourist stuff, beach toys, cheap souvenirs etc. There are almost no sidewalks, so walking around is hazardous. Td:lr it is a good hotel to stay, nothing extra special. Before you arrive, check what is included in all inc, since they will not tell you everything. There are little things that they could do better but overall a good holiday.More
Perfect family holiday
When we arrived another passenger on 5be transfer bus said you won’t be disappointed and this hotel and staff did not disappoint from them moment we arrived at 3am they had made us some food in case we were hungry from our night flight. Our rooms were lovely and clean and the views were stunning. The food was perfect with plenty of choice for everyone even 2 picky children. The pools very clean and lovely size and the beach was lovely. The staff were so helpful and friendly they even surprised my sone with a card, present and cake for his birthday. The on site shop prices were very reasonable. Only down side was my husband thought the beds were to hard I thought they were fine.More

A holiday that ticked all our boxes
I went away in August, school holidays, with my daughter, her husband and 2 children, 12 and nearly 14. Our rooms had fantastic views over the sea, they were kept spotlessly clean as was all the hotel. The food was superb, with a good selection for all tastes. The staff were all very obliging, particularly Elsie, who was known to move tables together for us if not quite right. There were always sun beds available somewhere without having to put towels out!!! As there were 5 of us it is impossible at some hotels. The choices to swim or relax was amazing, by one of the 2 pools, the gardens or the beach. The sea may not be easy for young children as you have to step down to it. My daughter was stung on her arm by a jelly fish, which she didn't see. But she said it wasn't much worse than a stinging nettle sting. We still went in swimming and never saw any. The pools never seemed to be overcrowded even though there were some inflatables being used there, quite surprising as it was school holidays, and they were always refreshingly cool. Sometimes the evening entertainment wasn't to our choice, but you could always sit by one of the pool bars. Gouvia was very nice to wander round in the evening, too hot for us in the day. Corfu town was an evening trip we did from the local beach. It was a very relaxing holiday that we all enjoyed. Excellent value. I would certainly go again.More
