I would have rated with 4 stars if my car wasn't damaged at the hotel's parking lot due to a careless hotel's personnel. Of course I was compensated for the damage but this took almost 2 months and I was without a car for more than a week plus some hours on the phone until everything was settled. Disappointment will overrule my memories from this hotel. More
Just a few days back from our holiday and already wishing I could return and do it all again. The hotel and facilities were great but it’s the staff here that really made it special, from the pool staff to those in the diving centre everyone was fantastic, but none better that Apostolos who was given the task of looking after our group of 21 people. Nothing was too small for him, from booking restaurants able to fit us all, to excursions as well as being on hand to assist when one of our party lost their passport an hour before we were due to leave for our flight, he really does deserve a special mention. Will definitely hope to return. Cillian & Clare.More
Standard Ikos - just fantastic! Massive rooms, beautiful views. Sunset cruise was stunning, shuttle bus into Corfu town was brilliant. Shows were great, really high standard and Joe the host was excellent. All the restaurants including the buffet were superb. Although all of the staff were brilliant, the ones who we interacted with the most were: Phevos at the pool bar/main bar in Sky. Spiros at reception, luggage - helping me find my make up during check out. Noemi check in and Sky reception Chara Sky reception Ali Sky reception A lovely man at the adults pool bar with brown hair and glasses, I didn’t get his name but he was delightful. Kerkyra restaurant Ebe Irene Anthanasia - wine sommelier, brilliant, really knew her stuff was brilliant. The addition of the courtesy room was a pleasant way to freshen up for our journey. As a huge Ikos Oceania fan, the only thing I missed was the view over the infinity pool from the Provence restaurant. But otherwise, it was just brilliant and so relaxing for a mother and daughter holiday. Thankyou so much Ikos, see you soon!! More
We stayed here for one week with our family of 8 - 6 adults - 2 children 11 and 8. From the moment we arrived in the lovely, cool, spacious reception area everything was superb - the rooms are smallish but adequate and beautifully furnished in fresh colours - extremely clean and well maintained. The pool areas are exceptionally clean and just a stones throw from the beach. All restaurants are superb - we particularly enjoyed the Thai,Italian,Greek and vidos (which you go to by boat) that’s a fabulous experience (only time we needed mozzy spray!). Water sports are very good and easy to get on - pedallos with slides, kayakes and paddle boards free. The ringos, crazy frog and paragliding have to be paid for. We all had massages at the spa which was lovely but only just managed to get slots so worth booking before you go. The first few nights restaurants need booking prior to get the times you need-I emailed the resort and they confirmed my reservations. The food is excellent and the staff are excellent with the children and all menus cater for them. Breakfast buffet excellent - don’t think you could ask for anything else! The drinks are proper branded - cocktails and beer are all good. If I have one slight criticism is that the tonic by the pool and in the theatre bar tasted cheap - high end tonic and mixers should be available otherwise there’s no point in serving good branded alcohol. The shows were mostly very good which surprised us again! The mini bar is restocked every day as are the toiletries. Service around the pool is excellent - cold face flannels, water melon, snacks. Special mention to the semillier (apastacia?) she was excellent and valued our opinion was very friendly and had great rapport with our family and our member of staff who booked all our restaurants and answered all our questions Apostolis via the ap. altogether excellent - we will return and recommend. Another amazing Ikos holiday
We absolutely loved Ikos Olivia when we visited during its first year (2015?) hence trying another Ikos resort. However we couldn't help but compare so here goes: + Wider choice of dining options - all excellent + Corfu is far nicer than Halkidiki, with much more to explore, whether beautiful beaches, Paxos & Antipaxos, Corfu Town or Durrells + Much nicer hotel beach + Excellent personal concierge service - Bit too big - Not as good value (in fairness maybe due to poor current £/€ exchange and reduced rates around Olivia opening?) - Suites smaller In summary we loved it and would highly recommend it to families who want a touch of luxury plus a safe place for kids to play and have fun. Special thanks to our friendly, helpful, responsive concierge Efi - we were so lucky to have you by our side (when we needed you!) for 2 weeks. Also to Mina in Flavors for our friendly start to the day and Maria, Despina and Kira for plying us with poolside alcohol! We will be back! :-)More
