Hotel Corfu Palace
This place has one of the best locations in town, and it comes with a huge pool and elegant restaurant.
This place has one of the best spots in Corfu Town. It’s surrounded by private gardens that overlook Garitsa Bay, making it peaceful yet central – the old town’s cobbled lanes are a 5-minute walk along the Esplanade.
The huge pool is the star of the show here. And the restaurant is a stylish affair with coastal views, while the pool bar’s handy for a light meal.

Really good apart from the car hire
There isn't much I can say about the hotel that hasn't been said. It's really nice, spacious, great location, lovely pool etc. Our only minus really was the breakfasts which were so-so. I ended up eating just the fruit most of the time because the warm food didn't do the business. If we returned to Corfu, this place would definitely be on our radar as it's one of the best we've been to for the price. What we didn't like which is nothing really to do with the hotel was TP Car Rentals which the hotel uses. We hired a small Hyundai and drove up to Kassiopi and Sidari. The roads up there are really bad, especially in the hills, and somewhere we got a flat tyre, only noticed by the attendant when we stopped for petrol. I wanted to change the tyre only to find TP hadn't put a jack in there. With the attendant's help we called TP and they sent someone from a nearby town to change the tyre. However, we still didn't have a jack and didn't want to risk our next destination. In the morning TP wanted 50 euros for a broken wheel because they said we drove on the flat. We argued down to 30 euros, though if we were in the UK we wouldn't have paid a penny. Only the thought of having the local police involved made me pay anything. Tyres aren't covered on the policy, so if you hire, read the small print. And check the boot before you set off. No sat nav either which seems off these days. Corfu Town of course is wonderful so if you go, this place is hard to beat. The pool was cold but we still managed to get in.More
Very helpful and friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. As it was a celebration they provided a card and a bottle of wine in addition to the fruit and wine as a welcome gift. The room was very comfortable with good quality beds. Excellent views of the Ionian sea from all rooms. Food and restaurant very good indeed. Early in the season so we were not able to use the pool as it was a bit chilly but it was very clean in the area.More

Excellent room and service in a waterfront landmark
One of the advantages of traveling off-season is the ability to find great rates at hotels that would normally cost more than you want to spend for a room. So I ended up in the first-rate Corfu Palace, which is directly across the street from the Ionian Sea. Because of my flight schedule, I arrived at the hotel early in the morning (9am) and had an early evening (6pm) flight the next day. When I arrived, I was able to check into my room; on departure, the hotel gave me a late checkout (3pm). Extra points to them for this assistance. My room was spacious, and everything worked well. The WiFi was fast and reliable. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices. There's a casino off the lobby, which may appeal to some travelers. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Old Fort, the Asian Art Museum, and Liston, and slightly less to reach Corfu Town's main shopping area. That made it easy to see the town's major sights. There's a lot to see on the island, and the Corfu Palace makes a good base for that. I'd gladly return to this hotel if I were again on Corfu.More
perfect location facing the sea and the old palace of Corfu. The food served during Easter was a buffet and at the end we got the barbecue lamb....! traditional Greek food. Delicious. The band also was playing Greek music. The ambiance was good as well.More
