We’ve just got back from a beautiful 10 days stay, was a bit worried with all reviews, please take no notice of bad reviews, yes it’s not a English 5*,but you expect that from abroad in certain countries, firstly the staff are great, from the management to the cleaners, nothing too much bother, are room was over looking pool 4301, and what stunning views, clean towels everyday, and room cleaned regularly, food was buffet style apart from the 3 restaurants french, Greek, Italian, the main restaurant yes it was busy at times but hey ho your on holiday, the food was good, loads to choose from, we ate in the Italian, good service and very nice food, same goes for the Greek, we didn’t try the french, pool areas were clean plenty of sun loungers, with beach towels changed every 2 days, entertainment staff were great, shame not live music every night, but what we saw we loved, will definitely be backMore
DEFINITELY NOT ANYWHERE NEAR A 5 STAR PLATINUM
If this hotel was rated 3 star then great, there is no way you could call this hotel a 5 star platinum, lovely views of the sea and the sunset you cant fault that. the food in the restaurant was always cold and more like canteen food, (book into the other restaurants for breakfast and meals but they weren't great but a bit better) we ate out the last few days, if you want a bloody Mary you are told you cant have spices as its not in the all inclusive but you can have one at breakfast I was told as there is a bloody Mary station, no thanks first thing in the morning. some staff were so rude, think they was under pressure as they were short staffed and the new ones had never worked in a hotel before. bathrooms are so dated, I waited for a bath plug, asked for one and was told yes I will get one, (never got one and the guest the week before had also asked for a plug by filling a form out and dated it placed it on the door and they never got one) the entertainment was poor for a adults hotel, if you want holiday to sit and play cards and dominos in a 3 star hotel then this is the place for you. we used a restaurant on the beach called Ark most days and we seen more people from the hotel in there, we would all look at each other and laugh about the hotel, someone called it faulty towers, there was couple of nice staff, a French girl who had only been doing the job for 2 weeks and never done it before, the Australian waiter, the scotch girl and the older guy called Michael. I have no photos of the holiday as nothing stood out for me to show off, a couple we were with got photos of the dirty suit they had and when showed the GR Manager she put her had up in front of my friends face and said I don't want to see, ( I will leave them to put their review on themselves) even the taxi drivers and some staff said they shouldn't class the hotel a 5 star,More
I first went in 2017, returned with wife and friends in 2018 but on day 3 suffered a stroke in our room. Thanks to outstanding efficiency of staff, managers and village doctor that episode was stopped quickly and on release from Corfu Clinic I was welcomed "home" by staff to enjoy a few days rest in this beautiful hotel with stunning views, great food and superb service. We returned this year because the place is second to none with the friendly atmosphere which made our holidays so enjoyable will no doubt bring us back again.More
Romantic spot, welcoming staff, lovely hotel
Views from everywhere in the hotel are to die for and especially the fabulous sunsets. Our double delux room was spotlessly kept and quiet with that view, sound of the sea and perfect for a snooze in the afternoon sun. The buffet meals are constantly refreshed, good quality and tràditional as well as cosmopolitan, and the speciality restaurants made our evenings with their excellent service and fancy meals. We had late breakfasts in Perla then one day got a special treat as our waiter suddenly took to the empty floor with a joyful Greek dance, what a great way to start the day not many hotels can boast a dancing waiter (and he was once professional)!! On arrival our bed was decorated with rose petals and towel sculptures then beautifullly kept with fresh towels everyday, a litre of drinking water, tea & coffee as well as toiletries. Pool towels were provided and there were always sunbeds available somewhere, I was pleased to see more on the beach this time. Most importantly, the staff and managers made our holiday so relaxing because everyone greets you as you pas by and I felt welcome in their island at this idyllic spot.More
Wingers Stay at Home Please
Just returned to Perth Western Australia, from Corfu with the beautiful wife. Stunning location, amazing staff, great food, beautiful beach, clear clean blue sea. The only thing that I have to complain about is people complaining about silly little things, the one reason we didn't sit round the pools, it's like a virus' with the only cure being "compensation" !! To these people I say better you stay in your own country than pollute someone elses. We had a super holiday and would go back in a flash. Thanks Mayor!More
