Great little Hotel
The Costas Golden Beach Hotel is the most welcoming of hotels that there is. Its such a friendly happy hotel, no matter who you talk to all of the staff are so warm. Its the ethos of the hotel, you soon become family and not just paying guests. The hotel is well maintained and very clean . The rooms are spotless and the beds are very good, unlike quite a lot of other hotels that we have stayed in over the years. The swimming pool is very well maintained and its good to see that this daily routine is carried out like clockwork by Miras, the area around the pool has plenty of loungers but there is still the comic early rush to place towels on them and to move chairs. Its quite funny to watch. There is a nice canopy area next to the dinning room which offers a welcome shaded area to relax in as well as being the area where you can buy your drinks or lunch, its also a nice place to have breakfast in. Which brings me onto the food. The breakfast is what we have become use to and is both plentiful, varied and Greek with a nod to UK tastes. The main meals are excellent, typically Greek and full of flavour, its hard not to eat too much, and the veg is out of the garden. Now the Hotel also make the best frappe's that I have had in Greece. Such a relaxing and warm hotel, its so good we have already booked for 2020 within 3 days of coming home. Loved the Hotel, the location, the food and the GREAT family that is Costas Golden Beach Hotel. Hotel Costas Golden Beach 🏖
This family run hotel we have visited on many occasions at different times of the year over the years. The family, staff and hotel is excellent. You could not find a nicer hotel. The service is of the highest standard and you feel very realxed because everyone is so friendly, the food is delicious, lovely very comfortable rooms, fantastic relaxing pool. Some of the best views in corfu. The beach, sea, and coastal views are so relaxing while sitting around the pool, eating your breakfast or evening meal watching the sunset. Agios Georgios is a quiet beautiful village, with lovely locals, all very friendly. You will not be disappointed if you want a quiet relaxing holiday, with a lovely family and staff who look after you and you can be sure to want to return. xxxMore

Welcome return
My wife asked where I wanted to go for our anniversary? Now bear in mind we've been to Hawaii, New York, San Fransisco and quite a number of other places around the world. I had no hesitation in saying "Costas". This was our fourth visit. The strange thing is, that we are not the kind of people to go back again and again to the same place...and yet here we are...again. My previous reviews still stand, and everything I said still rings true. The family (Dina, Dimitri, Spiros and the lovely Anastasia ) still make you feel like part of the family, such is the welcome you receive. The staff are so kind and helpful, nothing seems to be too much bother. The bedroom fittings have been revamped but the view out to the sea is still as gorgeous. Its still quiet, peaceful and relaxed. I dont know what more I can add. Another wonderful holiday.More
Eddy E,
A little gem of a hotel
So if you like a chilled relaxing holiday this is the place for you. We were here at the end of the season for a week after a excellent cruise around the Adriatic. Getting to the resort is adventure in its self, many if the roads are riddled with pot holes. The small low rised resort has all the usual you expect water sports restaurants supermarkets etc etc but no clubs just a few lively bars thank god! On arrival we got a huge welcome from Owner and family on the steps to hotel woofs and all. The rooms are what you expect , clean, well appointed, many sea views, reasonable sized bathroom, TV ,only 6 channels, but your not here for Tele, and room safe. Breakfast was fully stocked with a light English, eggs varied daily and continental , yogurt ,fresh fruit cocktail. Evenings were mainly local cuisine with a occasional English dish which was very good for buffet style food but could of been hotter. Some produced came from their veg & fruit garden and what Dimitri's the owner Caught from fishing and hunting trips . This hotel is a little gem operated extremely well everybody seams extremely happy in their work something I've never seen before in a hotel. The other thing I found strange while out exploring was that many of the locals leave their keys in the ignition of cars & motorbikes even some houses crime rate must be on Extreme low on this island...had no problems leaving balcony doors open on a hotel room. A MUST is a hire car if you want to get out and explorer the coves ,towns, etc. there is a bus but it's not very frequent I think I only 4 times a day stopping after 6pm. I hope this was of some help please tick. More
