The King Jason
These boutique-style apartments ooze contemporary chic, from the stylish buffet restaurant to the adults-only pool.
This place is a cut above most apartment complexes. For a start, the rooms rival those in the chicest of boutique hotels. And then there are the two main pools, one of which is adults-only.
The centre of Paphos is about a 20-minute stroll away, with its pretty ruins, shops and restaurants. And you’re within 15 minutes’ walk of three sandy beaches.

We stayed here from 15 May '19 for 2 wonderful weeks. We had a deluxe studio in Block B which overlooked the Elegancia pool. We had morning sun so it was nice to return in the afternoon to sit in the shade on the balcony. The room was very well equipped, a good size with ample storage space and hangers. The bathroom area was 'open plan' with curtains to draw for privacy. We had a bath with shower over but the room next to us (which we used for a late check out on our final day) had a walk in shower. I think I preferred the layout of our room. There was tea/coffee making facilities although we never actually used them. Towels were changed every day and there was ample toiletries. The beds were extremely comfortable. The aircon very efficient. Minor moan - the hairdryer was not in the right place for someone like myself who is left handed. The food was very good with a great choice at all mealtimes. They do not put out large quantities of food leaving it to go cold but instead smaller amounts that are continually replenished. Each night is a different theme and I particularly liked the Asian night. Sweets were moreish including the hot sweets of crumble, crepes and rice pudding. Although the hotel is beside a busy dual carriageway it did not cause us any problems at all. I don't thing we really paid much attention to the traffic except the occasional screaming of motorbikes. Yes, the hotel is not on the seafront but I don't think that detracted from anything. It didn't take long to walk to the seafront and the walk to the old town about 40 minutes. A lot of money seems to have been spent on the seafront area and in the old town but some of the streets off the seafront look a bit run down with empty premises and graffiti. Andreas and Maria are always on hand at mealtimes making sure guests are happy and have everything they need. They run things very efficiently and this certainly shows with regards to the attitude of the staff who we could not fault. Finally the cats - all well looked after and some very friendly especially the 3 that regularly patrolled the Elegancia pool area. You could suddenly find yourself sharing your sunbed with a cat - didn't bother me but I understand it could with some people. Just ignore them and they will not bother you. We intend to return to The King Jason maybe even as early as next year - something we have never done in all the years we have been going abroad.More
3rd Amazing Holiday
This is our 3rd holiday at the King Jason and everything was, as always, fantastic. Andreas and Maria still run the place like clockwork with the most friendly outlook to all their guests which in turn is reflected in the service received from all the staff. Still the best food I have eaten in any hotel anywhere with great selections everyday. We will definitely be returning for a 4th stay. I have one small observation and this is not a complaint but we were 3 adults in a one bed suite which they were aware of, but, only 2 balcony chairs are given and even though I asked for a 3rd, it was not forthcoming. Like I say just an observation and will not stop us returning.More
King Jason incredible
Very impressive place, most staff very friendly. The boss man (not sure his name) absolutely perfect in this job, really on top of everything doesn’t miss a thing. Food probably the best I have had anywhere. My only gripes would be when you ask for coke you get it out of a bottle and most times this seemed to be flat and sometime not even cold. This needs to be on draught. Bedrooms good, a little old school with the aircon (no remote control had to get up in the night to turn it up down or off. The hotel must sort out this constant and annoying lounger reserving with towels that’s going on. All week I watched the same family reserve 4 beds at 8am and then not use them till mid afternoon, this is not fair on everyone else as we have all paid to use them. No one likes to have to reserve the beds in advance but here if you can’t beat them you have to join them which is what everyone seemed to be doing. The king Jason must address this as this is a issue that would make me not want to return They kindly let me have a room For free on the last day which is much appreciated and very unusual, things like this go a long way with me, so yes if I’m back in paphos I don’t think I would choose to stay anywhere else More
The Perfect Holiday
Stayed at The King Jason, Paphos from 31st May to June 9th and it is the best holiday we have ever had. The staff are exemplary from the Management to the kitchen staff. We are an elderly couple but the hotel certainly has something to offer all ages. I usually get home sick for my dogs after a few days but we really did not savour leaving. The food was wonderful and would appeal to all tastes. We certainly aim to go back in the near future. We would like to thank Andreas, Maria Ainsley, Alex, Jimmy, Demetrius, Vladimir, the two Marias in catering, Angela, Thanasis, Jordon, Pepa, Shagru and last but certainly not least the Room Attendants. Second stay - not as good as the first
Our second stay, with the first in October last year. Overall, still a very nice relaxing place to stay, but felt it was not as good as the first. Accomodation was not as good, as we had a different style of room, with a very small bathroom, and minimal wardrobe space. Everyone seems to mention cats in their reviews, but was somewhat off putting by the smell of cat waste when entering and leaving our room. I know they must go somewhere, but the stench was quite bad. The staff were, as before, very helpful and polite. Jimmy was a good laugh as previously, and look forward to seeing him again, and the waiters were great with their attentiveness. Didn't like the attitude of the so called 'lifeguard' who had an attitude when we went to get new towels. Not like he was ever busy. We asked several times, for late check out, but were eventually told we could not, which we accept, but just made the trip home slghtly more tiring. It did get very busy towards the end of our stay, and getting a table in the evening was difficult. One of the main things we like here, is that it is quiet and relaxed, and the hotel being full detracted from this. Food was consistantly good. Great choice and quality. In summary, we still like it here, but just felt that some small things, we didn't experience on out first stay, made it less enjoyable than before. I dont wish to be critical, and maybe it is because our first stay was so perfect. We intend to return, and look forward to seeing the hard working staff. Thank you to all of them for all their efforts.More
