Hotel Louis Phaethon Beach Club
You get a choice of pools at this place. And in the summer months, there’s even a waterpark.
This place has a pair of huge pools. And in the summer months, a waterpark opens up. On the dining front, there’s a buffet restaurant with theme nights including Cypriot, Italian and seafood.
The hotel enjoys a quiet spot just outside central Paphos. There’s a little rocky beach behind the hotel. And it’s a 10-minute bus ride to the harbour, where cafés and tavernas line the water’s edge.

There's a trio of slides to try out, and the multi-lane one is great for a race. The waterpark is only open in the summer, from 1st May to 31st October. Just so you know, you will need to be aged 8 and 1.2m tall to ride the slides.
Great for the kids with a climbing frame, waterfalls and slides.

Not bad not great
For what we paid to go on this holiday the hotel is very dated and the rooms are very small, we also payed all inclusive and had to pay for food and drink after midnight, staff were nice and friendly and food was good bit of the same every day but nice to eat, pools were ok but was not allowed to play with anything they sold in there shop in the main pool, overall not a bad stay but a lovely holiday but payed 4 star money for what looked like a 3 star hotel. Just returned from our first visit to the Phaethon Beach and what a truly fantastic experience it was! I read the Trip Advisor reviews prior to booking but didn’t expect our holiday to be quite so fabulous as it eventually turned out. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff did everything they could to make our stay a positive experience. There is always someone there, waiting to take a glass, take an order, clean a table etc. The service is always efficient without being intrusive. The entertainment is OUTSTANDING! The singing and dancing is cruise-ship quality and there are some real undiscovered stars among the team such as Sam, the director of entertainment, who is unbelievably talented and his equally gifted team member Elle. One of the highlights for us was the Swing show which could quite easily have been put on in a West End theatre. In a nutshell, it is so much more than you would expect for an all-inclusive holiday hotel. The standard of food is amazing and what is particularly great is that it’s available all day long so if you’ve taken a trip to the harbour as we did one day and missed lunch in the main restaurant, you can stop off at the pool bar for chicken burgers, spag bol, chips, baguettes etc. The 4pm pancakes/waffles with Nutella was a daily joy! Our children absolutely loved the waterslides, pools and playground areas. My eldest insists it is the best hotel she has ever stayed in! We’ve paid much more for hotels in Cyprus in the past and to be quite honest very few have delivered the standards as the Phaethon. This hotel offers exceptional value for money. I can completely understand why so many couples and families return here every year, I think we too will be joining them!More
Wedding & Holiday
We married at this beautiful hotel, Laura Menzies the wedding coordinator in the hotel is excellent she is a credit to this hotel our wedding was amazing! The hotel is lovely, we was greeted with champagne wine beer cakes etc check in was very relaxed a big shout out to Katalina on reception lovely lady. We stayed in room B048 a large ground floor room with sea views this room was much bigger than other hotel guest rooms. Maids cleaned the room everyday fresh towels etc. Food was brilliant you could never go hungry here! Breakfast lunch dinner all great in the main restaurant. Chinese in the afternoon is awesome! Best Chinese I’ve tasted! Fresh cooked pizzas in the afternoon and snacks out all day! Micheal is lovely will do sort so anything for you. Waffle and pancakes at 4pm..... yummy when 5yr old loved this! Drinks were great help yourself soft drinks in the day alcoholic at the pool bar! Bobby & rado we’re great! Entertainment all throughout the day which was good my 2 boys were having so much fun in the pools we only took part a few times. The main pool is where most games take place and you can use inflatables. The kids pool was great kids loved it also the other pool was great slides were such a laugh fun had by both children & adults. Only downside you can’t use underwater toys in the other pool it was hard to swim under water in the main pool due to a lot inflatables. Both boys enjoyed hotel and TUI kids club, hotel kids club is very well advertised, TUI one is not we only found that one after walking around! Evening entertainment is inside downstairs which is a shame as was very hot we seemed to get most mozzie bites down there (access is not great to it) In the evenings kids used to like playing in the park. We also liked to sit on the terrace which was nice it was waiter service but did have to end up getting drinks ourselves sometimes! The Elvis man (Romeo) seemed to just wander & walk around and not take orders would be nice to see him smile. Kristina & Daniel were 5* always checking everything was ok both are a credit to the hotel! I would give this hotel 5 stars but there was one problem there was diabetics in our party who registered at reception, Reception was fine and told them to quote the room number when ordering diet drinks as all soft drinks were full sugar. Every time a diet drink was ordered Rhodes the bar manager was not happy and made this very clear to our guests he made people feel like they was a burden for having diet drinks! If you ordered 10 beers or 10 cokes that’s fine no questions asked but if you ordered 2 diet lemonade there was questions and rudeness! After speaking to Rudi (another fantastic staff member) this was sorted but something like this shouldn’t need discussing maybe a new system would work different colour wristbands so staff know? We will be back to this hotel :-)More
Stayed what should of been 10 days at The Louis Pantheon hotel Rooms were amazing and cleaned every single day , Food was great except Breakfast which was repetitive however the pool bar opens at 10am and had plenty of choices hot and cold buffet. Bar staff at the pool bar were great Elena especially was terrific. Would I stay here again YES Only I'd make sure I brought some deet and ate plenty of peppermint As the mozzies were relentless with me 🤣 Hotel was spotless , food and staff amazing as was the reps .More
Booked through TUI AI on line just for a week in May and agree to the comments about the food which was well above average for an all inclusive hotel as was the drinks. The entertainment again was a good standard and the kids that where there (out of school term?) appeared to be well entertained, they even had there own buffet food station. Don’t expect high standards regarding the hotels condition as it needs a bit of an upgrade and TLC but there are more positives to this place that override this. The pools where freezing so be careful if it’s a hot day, there was always a sun bed available somewhere around them but if it’s a quiet rest you want try the grass area by the sea. (Just my thought on the pools, they could have a children’s pool and a pool where you could actually swim in rather than pools that have young ones and games all the time, just a thought as there’s no beach, the name of the hotel should remove “beach” from its name, so a peaceful swim is out of the question). All the staff without exception were good and welcoming. The gym, sauna and steam room were okay, the jacuzzi and cold pool were mostly occupied by the young ones but on the occasions we could use them they were fine. All in we enjoyed the break, however, we didn’t do our research properly and if we had we wouldn’t have stopped here. Great I’m sure for families but to far away from the town, one and half hour walk away, no beach, lots and lots of weddings and to busy with young ones for ourselves More
