Visited the Louis Ledra Beach with my family for two weeks in May. Arrival was smooth, lovely welcome drink and luggage brought to our room. Room We had a family room with sliding doors. The room was kept immaculate throughout our time and the staff would leave little towel art which was a nice touch. The drinks in the fridge are part of the all inclusive and restocked daily. We had a problem with our air conditioning that was quickly fixed. Only negative points to the room where the sliding doors weren’t that great and didn’t close properly in the middle and the beds were very uncomfortable. A few days in I asked for a mattress topper which improved it a little but still quite uncomfortable. Food and Drink Food is available at this hotel from 7am until midnight. The food in the man restaurant is lovely, lots of choice and always hot. The staff in the restaurant will find you a table and serve you drinks to your table. They are so very friendly and Georgious (excuse the spelling) was lovely. What I mostly loved was the choice of drinks at breakfast. Rather than just juice tea or coffee, there were three flavours of infusion water, three flavours of iced cordial (orange lemon and rose), fizz, milk, smoothies and soft drinks. Each afternoon round the pool they would bring you little snacks such as trifle and waffles and each day there was afternoon tea served in the pool bar. Pool Area The pool area was lovely. On our first week the pool was freezing, however we still went in it!!! The second week however it had warmed up and was lovely and refreshing. There are three pools at the ledra. A massive main pool and then two smaller pools - one purely for adults and one for kids. Lifeguards were lovely and friendly and always available to find you a sun bed. People didn’t get up at the crack of dawn to reserve sunbeds and there were always loads available. There is a lovely jacuzzi within the main pool (which we only realised in our second week!!). Entertainment Wow! What a team. Absolutely five star. The team consists of Charlotte (manager and choreographer) - amazing dancer and lovely friendly Manchester girl, Charlie - again an amazing dancer and great singer, Jak - what a voice(!!!), Amy & Claire (these both had holidays home while we were there so didn’t really speak to them much). Then there were my two absolute favourites - Sofie (the donkey as she was affectionate known), a Leeds girl who was amazing. She literally made my holiday. So friendly, loud, energetic etc. and again a great dancer! And David, friendly and lovely. Also a great dancer but not used enough in my opinion! David needs to be in more shows. I loved them all. Full entertainment programme throughout the day including French bowls, shuffleboard, darts, aqua gym, water polo, volleyball etc etc. You could join in as much or as little as you wanted to. Occasionally the team would put on shows at lunch time too. Each night there is a mini disco for kids, a pre show and then a show. My only complaint would be that shows rarely started on time and sometimes the shows would change last minute (or we wouldn’t know the shows until last minute). I in no way blame the entertainment team for this, it was decisions made above them. Hopefully this is more organised in the high season. The shows were professional and amazing. All in all, a great holiday made by the energetic entertainment team! Louis Ledra - I will be back!! More
Me,my husband and 2 year old stayed here whilst my husband had work to complete in Cyprus. As it was just me and my little boy we spent most of our time at the hotel. The staff were all amazing and chatting to my little boy, they always offered to help me get dinner or drinks as I was on my own. Food was very nice and they did each theme well. Rooms are on the small size and not what we are used too as they are also abit dated. Overall a nice hotel and would definitely come back and stay here again when my husband has to come back out for work.More
Decent hotel, would recommend it
As said in the title , this hotel is worth the money you pay . All staff were very good and service in general was brilliant . Rooms were modern and cleaned every day. The all inclusive drinks are ok, pretty standard for 4 star hotels . The food was very good with a different theme for dinner every evening .big mention to Chris at the beach bar, mihail, Ivan, Maria, Charlie all great members of staff and that’s just to name a few . Entertainment staff all very good, would recommend watching the shows . More
This trip was our third visit to the Louis ledra hotel and as many other reviews say from the moment you arrive the welcome is fantastic. Drinks on arrival while filling in your visitors card and by the time you have finished your luggage is in your room. Nothing is too much trouble for the reception staff, any query you may have they will sort for you. Now the food and restaurant staff are fantastic always a smile from Nikki always banter with Zoe and the management in the restaurant are wonderful and very efficient. The staff in the bar areas are also very good at their jobs Chris at the pool bar Stefanie and mihalis in the reception bar and all those whose names I cannot pronounce well done. As far as entertainment is concerned the new team are doing a grand job dancing, singing, and amusing the guests on a regular basis. So well done to Charlotte,Charlie, Jack, David, Amy and the wonderful Sophie see you all next year.More
