Hotel Atlantica Golden Beach
The Atlantica Golden Beach draws guests back year after year, thanks to its beachfront location and great dining scene.
This designed-for-adults hotel is hidden among banana trees in a peaceful area, around 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Paphos. It’s by a pebbly beach, so sea views come as standard throughout the grounds.
The focal point here is the pool – a lagoon-like number with a beach-style, sloped entry. The dining scene covers British favourites along with Cypriot specialities. Activities range from aerobics to wine tasting. And, after dark, comedians, dancers and live music are on the bill.

3rd Visit to this Great Hotel
Visited between 24/08/2019 to 08/09/2019. Fist the negatives:- we were in room 336 and the wifi was poor as could not evan log on, i have to download some documents from work and check them then upload at night every couple days or so, to do this i had to go to reception morningf and evening. I reported this to reception and was told they would look into this and get back to us but we heard nothing, this wasnt a big issue so did not persue it. only other issue is the lunch time dinning area, sometimes difficult to get table in the shade and the buffet area is quite small, again more of a grip more than an issue. Now the posatives which completely out way the negatives:- The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff work hard and service is exceptional, service in resturants is first class. The drinks service in the lobby and terrace is very good, never have to wait long, entertainment again is good. This was our 3rd visit and we had our second returners lunch which is always very ggod, it shows that the management do apriciate us returning. We are returning to Paphos in september 2020 but not to this hotel but to the Tui Blue Pioneer Beach and the reason is we are concerned regarding the building work next to the hotel. during the building work or the impact of more people decending on such a small beach area we will wait and see what other vistors write regarding their vist after the work has funished. We really hope there is no impact as we do wish to return in the future and do recommend this hotel.More
This was our 4th visit to this hotel. Normally stay in September but stayed November and really fortunate with weather. Rooms spotless and cleaned daily. Food delicious with different theme every night. There is an A la Carte restaurant available to visit once during your stay. Well worth it if you’re all inclusive. Plenty to keep you busy throughout the day if you want to join in - games, quizzes wine tasting to name a few.If you like swimming in the sea, bring beach shoes because there are lots of pebbles. Staff friendly and helpful.More

On arrival we were given a glass of bubbly and a welcome greeting by Michael the reception manager and then taken to our room by George the porter. George told us that the room safe was not working and he’d report it. Michael appeared 15 minutes later and couldn’t fix safe but guaranteed it would be fixed the following day. It wasn’t. We departed 8 days later and no one had come to fix safe so next guests would have same problem. All the staff couldn’t have been more courteous and helpful and a few that deserved an extra mention were Ellada, who took care of room. Katarina, Mihai, Stefania in restaurant and Nicoletta in the bar. The hotel was spotlessly clean and has a superb beachfront position. On the downside it’s in the middle of nowhere and has building work going on on either side of it. There is an excellent bus service running from Coral Bay to Paphos port all day. The food was good but not up to the standard I’ve enjoyed in many of the Gold hotels I’ve visited over the last 20 years. A few of the other guests also mentioned this to me. Having said that there was never a time you couldn’t find something to eat. The exception was the a la carte you were allowed one night of your stay, it was excellent. Many of the guests return to this hotel year after year and a number I spoke to, who were first timers, said that they would return.More
A lovely Hotel
First the negatives. We had paid Thompson for an upgraded side sea view, however, presently the main focus of this view is a building site...so was quite disappointed with this. The road too can be busy and a little noisy. Now for the positives. We loved this hotel and it's location away from the busy town area but on a direct bus route to both Paphos and Coral Bay and with a bus stop right outside. All the hotel staff were friendly and just couldn't do enough for us. Everything in the hotel was really clean and the food was of excellent quality and really tasty. Never normally eat sweets abroad but could not resist the bread and butter pudding here! On arrival we upgraded to the all inclusive local drinks which was a good move as the drinks were very good and beautifully presented. Entertainment was good and we enjoyed some dancing and singers during our stay, special thanks to Harry and Luke! Hotel was initially very quiet but became busier during our stay, however, this didn't affect the service in any way. I can certainly understand why people return to this hotel. One suggestion might be for a selection of snacks to be available to purchase in the bar/pool area. There were some sandwiches in the upper bar but it would have been nice to have more choices for a lunchtime snack. Thankyou Atlantica Golden Beach for a fab holiday!More
