Hotel Atlantica Golden Beach
The Atlantica Golden Beach draws guests back year after year, thanks to its exclusive postcode and great dining scene.
This hotel is hidden among banana trees in a peaceful area of Paphos. It’s shouldered by a pebbly beach, so sea views come as standard throughout the grounds.
Interiors are really elegant. The lobby, for instance, is marble-floored, and comes with chunky pillars and stylish wing chairs.

Just spent two weeks at this hotel, and loved everything about it. The lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us. A special mention to Prim who kept the drinks coming, when we were melting in the heat. As for the entertainment, all of the Tui team could sing on a west end stage, and all the acts were brilliant. Thank you all for your hard work .More
A 4 Star Hotel with a 5 Star Feel
We booked the hotel through TUI and from the moment we arrived at the front door we were made to feel like very special guests. A personal welcome from the hotel staff gave us a good introduction to the facilities. The room was spacious and clean. There were tea and coffee making facilities (a rarity in most hotels). The staff all spoke English and were very friendly. Nicos the restaurant manager was cheeky but nice with it! The food was buffet style and there was plenty of it and it was varied which suited me because I am a picky eater. There was a different theme in the restaurant each night so the food varied across a wide range. I was worried that the hotel was isolated - there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance - but the entertainment on site was excellent every night so there was no need to leave the hotel. The 4 TUI entertainment team members, Jamie, Matt, Louise and Eliza, were brilliant. They had a comedian on one night which let the show down because he was not particularly funny but the resident musicians "Dolly and the Gambler" rescued the night. The beach is non-existent - just a group of rocks with a small bit of shingly sand - but we knew this in advance. The hotel pool was brilliant and there were plenty of free sun loungers available. Drinks and even chilled towels were brought to us on our loungers - very decadent! The hotel does not allow under 16's so speaking as a more mature guest it was nice not to be bothered by screaming kids. On our final day when we left the hotel, the Manager shook our hands and offered us a bottle of water for the journey home. A small touch but effective. Around 30% of the guests at the hotel had been before and some were regulars. I can see why they would keep going back. I think we shall also.More
Wow ...just WOW!!!!
My husband and I visited AGB for 10 days this month and I can honestly say this is the most friendly place I have ever stayed. We had a FAB room with a pool and side sea view, with a beautiful sunset every night. Our room was slightly dated with only a shower over the bath but was spotlessly clean. FOOD was amazing!!!, great variety and always HOT !!!, cold food on holiday is one of my pet hates. A la Carte restaurant is a must!!! You can go once per visit free and we enjoyed is so much we paid for a second visit, well worth it, service Excellent!! POOL, as stated by other reviewers, you have to be up at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed round it but we didn’t bother. We loved it down on the grass ,overlooking the beach, beautiful view and a lovely breeze. Drinks served by Prem who certainly deserves a mention, he works so hard and serves must be around 40 sunbeds all day, single handed... What a Star... Thankyou Prem!! TUI staff, both the Reps and the Entertainment Team are so friendly ,helpful and the Entertainment Team , well we have never been anywhere with this standard of singing, every night we really enjoyed their shows, our favourite being The ABBA Show. Also there were tribute acts brought in, we really enjoyed Gary Barlow.... so talented!! Before dinner we would sit outside, have a drink and watch the beautiful sunset every night and be served by the beautiful and bubbly Nicoletta, Thankyou Nicoletta !!! and YAMASS!!!, also Santosh such a polite and friendly waiter. I could go on and on and on but I won’t .....we had THE BEST HOLIDAY!!! and would 100% recommend this holiday to anyone. All I will say is that I would say the average age at this Hotel is about 60 but there are young couples there who still really enjoyed all AGB has to offer. Only one VERY small negative and just an idea, we are sun worshipers and found ourselves chasing the sun all day because ALL the sun umbrellas are fixed. Maybe there could be one of the sunbathing areas with umbrellas that can be moved or put down.... Just a thought ! Thankyou Atlantica Golden Beach for our most Amazing Holiday.... We WILL be back! Fantastic holiday fantastic hotel!
Returned from our first visit to this hotel last week and I am sure it won’t be our last.We have visited a lot of Gold hotels but this is the best we have been to. No wonder it keeps winning Best Gold hotel! All of the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you to make sure you enjoy your holiday. The facilities are great and the entertainment outstanding. The entertainment team work so hard and are so professional. Don’t miss the wine tasting and cocktail making best we have been to and the Managers cocktail party is great, as much booze as you want all free even for those like us on half board. The food is very good, the A la carte restaurant in particular was very nice. The first evening even though we arrived very late we were greeted by Michael who told us a bit about the hotel and then took us to the restaurant which was still open serving a cold buffet. The next morning we went to the meeting and met the Reps who are so friendly. Nicky in particular who is a real live wire. When she heard my husband was a bird watcher she went round the back of the stage and came out wearing a set of pink feathers on her head! The only negatives about the hotel are perhaps the bathrooms which are a little dated, a walk in shower would be nice. Also cannot keep a bottle of wine until next evening in Restaurant I cannot understand why this is not allowed,Although the location is a little remote there is an excellent bus service to Paphos or Coral Bay running every 15 minutes. We hired a car through Europcar excellent service and we were upgraded to a bigger car.If hiring a car don’t attempt to drive to Adonis waterfalls from the Coral Bay road even though road is advertised as being suitable for all cars it is clearly not! There is access from Paphos which although bumpy is a lot better! The taverna by the sea is used for lunches and you can go there even if you are on half board, lovely food and great value. We were given a voucher for a free buffet lunch we used on the last day and food was excellent. We had a couple of niggles with our room whilst we were there but after reporting them they were sorted so quickly by Athina she is so hardworking and obviously takes pride in her work and the hotel. Also a special mention for Adrian our waiter in the ballroom every evening, so efficient and remembers what everyone is drinking without any reminders. Our only other gripe concerns the sun Beds!, I have never been to a hotel before where people get up at 5.30 am to reserve beds by the pool!, It has to be seen to be believed! There are plenty of sun beds to go round if you don’t mind where you go. We look forward to returning in the future as so many of the guests do.More
