We stayed at this hotel in March 2020 for a week on b/b basis the hotel was absolutely excellent and in a great location our room was on the third floor with sea views and wow what a great view of the sea and castle The room itself was huge with a comfy seating area as well as a huge comfortable bed and still plenty of space also couldn’t fault the room refreshments the mini bar had a great selection of drinks and nibbles and very reasonable as was the room service and the food was excellent the hotel is spotless clean The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and just couldn’t do enough for you It’s the first hotel we have been to where you had your own sun beds allocated to you for your entire stay . They spoilt us rotten we didn’t even have to go to the bar for drinks they were brought too us and we opened a tab for our stay and to be honest with the service and quality of food and drinks I was very happily surprised at the bill for the week We will be returning to Pafos for sure and definitely wouldn’t stay anywhere else except this stunning hotel Thank you for such a great holidayMore
The staff put the Great in to the Alexander the Great Hotel!
We have stayed at the hotel for the last 20+ years and have always found it to be well managed and a great place Tom stay. The facilities are very good, with in door and outdoor pools, a lively pool bar and the Alexander Bar where there is entertainment most evenings. The food is excellent and well presented. The star of the hotel though is the staff, though of several nationalities all are friendly, well trained, and engage with the hotel guests. A great place to stay!.,More

Really friendly hotel
We were there for my wife’s birthday. The staff were so friendly and helpful arranging a special birthday dinner with balloons and cake. And every day we were there they were always helpful, reserving the best sun beds for us, serving drinks with a smile, making sure there were plenty of towels and clean linen in the room. Wonderful views over the sea. Only half the restaurants open because we were off-season. Food a bit bland, but then they seemed to be catering mostly for English package tourists (seniors) who loved the bland food. It was a shame to see all the staff downhearted the last two days we were there. We discovered it was because the hotel was closing the following week because of the coronavirus crisis. The day after we flew home the government closed the whole island to tourists.More
