Alexander the Great Beach Hotel
The beachside spot, infinity pool and entertainment venue are the big draws at this modern hotel.
This hotel has one of the best postcodes in Paphos. It’s right by a sandy, Blue Flag beach, and just a five-minute walk from the shops, bars and restaurants in the stylish harbour.
Style-wise, the hotel has a modern edge. A pool with infinity edges, Smart TVs in the rooms and a restaurant with teppanyaki tables set the scene.

Wow! What a lovely place to visit after being away from it for so many years. The weather was glorious. Very close friends chose to get married abroad in Pafos. We decided to stay a week and what a great hotel we chose. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, the rooms were furnished very well. Great allocation of sunbeds- you could choose where you wished to be and that was your sunbed for the entire stay, however, if you did chose to move the pool attendants would find you another great spot to relax. Such a brilliant idea! Many weddings appear to take place in Cyprus and from what I could see and hear they all were fabulous. We Had suave a great time. We shall definitely return. Thank you. More
Since getting divorced some time ago and now with a partner this was my first visit to Cyprus and this hotel but for my partner it was her twelfth on the trot. I was blown away with the facilities and standard of the accommodation. The staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you. It’s a family hotel but with the advantage of the serenity pool area that is reserved for adults only. The other great advantage is the sun bed reservation system where your preferred sun bed and sun shade is your for the whole of your stay reserved against your room number. The food is great and plentiful. We stayed on half board and it worked for us. Highly recommended.More
Yet Another Great Stay at the Alexander
Our 4th visit, which probably confirms that we like it. As always, all of the staff were helpful, friendly and really just excellent at what they do. It was good to see again the super efficient ladies that oversee the restaurants and also to talk with some of the youngsters that move at 'high speed', trays aloft, serving from Alexanders Bar. The food in all of the restaurants was fantastic, our compliments to the Head Chef and his team. The sunbed allocation system is still a real joy when compared to most other hotels. Our thanks to every single member of staff for making it another 'Great Stay at the Alexander'. We look forward to visit number 5. More
Great stay at Lovely Hotel
Enjoyed our recent stay at the Alexander the Great Hotel.2nd visit. The staff here cannot do enough to please you. Room was very good, and well kept. Food was very good also and staff put themselves out to oblige. The staff were very obliging. The reservation system of reserving the chairs was also very well run and saved any arguments about reserving your chair. This was the second time in 2 years that my wife and I have enjoyed visiting this hotel and cannot praise it highly enough. Best hotel in Paphos.More

Very well managed hotel with great service
Room was comfortable with small balcony. General hotel faclities were good, we especially liked the allocated sunbeds - given ones of our choice on first day which were then reserved for us for the week.Breakfasts were very good without the chaos that happens at many resort hotels. We ate the buffet evening meal on two nights which was good, not so the other time we ate in at the Asian themed restaurant which was disappointing with rather bland food (although must say the service and presentation were very good). Nice beachside walkway into the resort centre. Another very useful amenity was the stop for the local bus service right outside the hotel into Paphos Harbour and beyondMore
