Great views, near old town and lovely staff!
When we first arrived we had two rooms one for my parents and one for me and my sister. When we got to the room we found a mini ant infestation on my sisters side of the bedroom. We notified the staff and they immediately apologised and gave us a new room so they handled this very professionally. The food at the buffet is typically the same meat I.e. pork, turkey and beef. They have two choices of soup each night and a nice range of desserts and salad to pick from. Also a seafood night which has a range of fish and Croatian night which was interesting to see all the traditional food. We wish they had more chicken and lamb each night since it’s only been 1/2 nights of our 12 day stay. I’d recommend sitting near Ana she is very friendly and attentive with looking after you in the evening and at breakfast. You can get the number 6 bus from the hotel on the main road and buy your tickets for slightly cheaper at the mini kiosk inside the hotel. The last stop is the old town which is helpful. I’d recommended the wall and fortress but keep hydrated as it gets extremely hot! Me and my sister wanted to do a night out so I asked the concierge for recommendations. We went to Revelin Culture Club which was pricey but we knew this beforehand (£30 for two double vodka lemonades!!!) the music is good and the host gets you dancing and was worth going - just a warning about smoking they can smoke in the club but wasn’t too bad after a while. The drinks in the evening in the lobby bar are more fruity than alcoholic tasting to us. The staff are very good but might lose track of what you ordered since you don’t pay straightaway or charge to your room unless you remind them. The pool is lovely and refreshing since it’s fresh water and they also have an indoor pool but the kids are usually in there. You are allowed floats so we used our burger float regularly in there. There are some supermarket type shops down the road nearby so get drinks from there instead of the pool bar since they are significantly cheaper and are 2L bottles. Also the Cave Bar is worth going to but isn’t easy to find - the road is badly lit so use your phone torch to see where you are going! If you go through the hotel car park way it’s a much quicker route. The lifts are confusing too but once you are down to the -2 entrance the bar itself is amazing. They have a range of drinks and an outside area where you can view the bay of La Pad. A trip to Lokrum Island is good for any Game of Thrones fans they have left an Iron Throne that was used on set for fans to sit on and the Dead Sea was fun to float in. The island has lots of bars which were all surprised by since we thought it wouldn’t have a lot there and reviews said to come prepared. The gardens are a bit desert like but the boat comes every half an hour. The first boats are at 9 then 10 an then become every 30 mins afterwardsMore
Fantastic hotel, beautiful setting and great facilities. Indoor and outdoor pools plus access to the private beach at the President hotel. Staff very friendly and the food superb. My 11 year old son and I had the week of our lives! Highly recommended More

A nice hotel
Stayed here for a long weekend, the hotel was clean and modern, the aircon worked well, and the bath and shower was nice. The hotel also has plenty of parking which is free. The hotel is in a ideal place with restaurants and bars in walking distance, and the promenade with bars and restaurants just down the hill, and the old town a short taxi ride away. The breakfast is well worth getting up for, with a great selection. The only reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars is that unless you get a sun bed around the pool very early, you won’t get one at all. We came back twice for a afternoon of sun bathing, and both times couldn’t get a bed. I don’t think that enough was done to remove towels off bed that where clearly not being used. We ended up going to a beach club at the end of the path which was very expensive. Overall it is a good hotel, and we had a good weekend, and I would recommend. More
I stayed in this hotel as part of a two hotel stay in Croatia - it was excellent - super views - good service
the ambience was welcoming and although quite a large hotel it felt friendly and position was by the beach and in gardens which were a short walk to the bus to go into town The rooms were a good size although I had a twin room for solo use More
Stayed here at the end of July for a week with my partner. Our room was spotless, we paid extra for a balcony and although we didn’t get a sea view, it was still a lovely view of the Dubrovnik Bridge. The views from the hotel are out of this world, especially the sunset! Breakfast buffet was good with a lot of choice and something for everyone. We were not so keen on the dinner buffet, not a great variety in our opinion and quite expensive at 200 kuna each as we were not half board. Pool and facilities are fantastic, we ate at the pool and lobby bar most days and the food and drinks here were excellent. Evening entertainment was good, especially on the Friday night where we were treated to a performance from the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, definitely one of the highlights of the trip! Staff are all very helpful and friendly, especially the staff on the excursions desk who are very knowledgable and helpful when booking trips. Ideal location with the Old Town a short drive away on the bus. Loved our stay here and would definitely recommend!More
