A very busy but excellent hotel
The hotel has all the facilities you need and always offers a choice viz: indoor/outdoor pools,buffet/gourmet cuisine, rooms with/without balconies. It is part of a large complex but that was no problem. It's very close to the walkway that takes you to the outskirts of Dubrovnik town and is very close to the bus stop where number 6 bus will take you to and from Dubrovnik. The bus service is excellent ( 4 per hour) and very reasonable. Food is very good with an excellent choice well prepared by quality staff. Their colleagues working in reception and cleaning are also excellent, friendly and very attentive to the needs of guests. Nearby ( a 5 minute walk) there is a small mall with shops and bistros. The hotel does cater very efficiently for large groups of tourists and that does not present a problem.More
Large Modern Conference Hotel, Suburban but Convenient to Old City
Large, well-run hotel suitable for personal, family and business travelers. The air conditioning/fan are centrally controlled and were turned off this time of the year, so many of the rooms were extremely hot and stuffy, even with the balcony doors wide open. Front desk personnel got me a standing fan from another hotel, which enabled me to get some sleep. Free, fast wifi in the room. Huge breakfast and dinner buffets with diverse, good food. Close to the bus stop that gets you to the old city in just a few minutes, and just a block or two to a nice park and a small promenade with shops and restaurants.More

First time trip to Dubrovnik
Large , busy multi use hotel with a mixture of guests and amenities. Location is great for peace and quiet with excellent sea views( amazing sunsets) and within a garden setting but is a little way away from the restaurants and amenities of Dubrovnik itself. There is a reliable bus service ( No.6 every 15 mins or so) right outside the hotel which takes you right up to the city gates. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful and any requests were actioned quickly and efficiently. Staying on a bed and breakfast basis, the restaurant provided a wide range and choice of options. When hosting conference guests, ( a couple of days whilst my wife and I were resident) the restaurant was very busy. All in all a very comfortable, clean and efficient hotel with friendly and helpful staff set in peaceful surroundings. A wonderful holiday and we would certainly recommend it.More
Good location but hotel had a corporate/unwelcoming feel to it.
We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights in May on a half board basis. Pros • Nice view of the sea from the hotel (I would recommend watching the sunset from the terrace). • Both the breakfast buffet and the evening meal buffet had a lot of variety, the food was nice. • Easy transport to the old city, bus stop is 5 mins walk away. The bus stop is one of the first stops which means you’re guaranteed to get a seat on the bus for the way there (the way back can get busy and you might not get a seat), bus number 6 takes you to the old town, it takes roughly 15 minutes to get there. • Bus tickets can be bought a little cheaper from the shop at the hotel as opposed to buying them on the bus. • Indoor swimming pool was nice, robes are provided for free if you ask at reception. • The area is nice, there is a nice coastal path which takes you to the cave bar, and there is a small shop within a 5 mins walk to get your water ect. • The room was very clean, housekeeping did a great job. • Housekeeping staff were friendly. Cons • We booked half board, on our first day we saw people having a dinner buffet on the terrace with a view so we were bit disappointed to find out we were actually in the basement without the option to sit outside and the people on the terrace belonged to a conference. • Check-in lady at reception was cold and unwelcoming, she provided no information at all, it would have been useful to know the time for breakfast and where it was ect. • There atmosphere at the hotel was a little strange, they have conferences at the hotel, there were a lot of people walking around in suits. • The breakfast & dinner buffet could get a bit chaotic, half of the tables were reserved. • Some of the staff at breakfast & dinner would shout, we got shouted at because we sat at a dirty table (we didn’t realise at the time because it looked pretty clean). The man should have just said let me clean it up for you like they do in other places, his behavior spoilt my night. Giving it a 'very good' rating because of how good its location is for the old town.More
Perfect hotel to end our cruise and vacation
Location: Ok it looks like it is out of town but it is a simple (though VERY crowded) bus ride to the old city. Don't be dissuaded by the location (unless you can afford the Hilton). Seeing people lugging their suitcases around the old town and up what sometimes was a lot of steps persuaded us that we were right not the stay in the old town. It is also close to the beach and a nice walking area with restaurants etc. Room: We got an ocean facing room with 2 floors connected by a spiral staircase (Gate1 had arranged this as the last stop on our cruise and then we added two days). Coming off the tight quarters of our small ship cruise this felt glorious. Spectacular ocean views. Space. The shower was not perfect: uneven water temp. Otherwise, the room was great. Staff: they were busy as there was a convention and multiple tours pulling in but we got quick and nice service. I was able to easliy arrange some tours. Breakfast: BIG room with lots of choices in the food. We used the indoor pool because it was raining but there is an outdoor pool, spa, etc. Our friends loved their massage. My biggest pet peeve was the system that required your key to have AC and lights. The issue was our key expired at 8 am one morning and we lost power and you had to reset the room temp after each time you left your room. But that is a minor issue. We definitely stay here again.More
