Super city, super hotel - fantastic staff!
Really enjoyed our trip to Dubrovnik and stay at the hotel. We visited with Jet 2 which I also couldn’t fault in terms of our transport to Dubrovnik from Edinburgh. It was also a very smooth check in even though we were early. Pros: Staff all very friendly towards our little (15 month old) boy. Easy access to Dubrovnik via number 6 bus directly outside the hotel. You can buy bus tickets from the hotel. Good location in general, a bit out from the hustle and bustle! Spa facility quiet, peaceful and seemed underused by guests. Suited me! Pools all good although slightly on the cold side! Weather was hot when we were there. We requested a bath and were given one in our room. So helpful for our needs! And a sea view thrown in which was magic! Room was perfect, great size! Small shopping complex located close, had a few places to eat and a shop for basic goods. Massage(s) was amazing - well worth the money! Good breakfast although wasn’t a fan of the breakfast juice! Bacon was good! Cons: Very few. I’m being picky when I say this... Limited choice of lobby and pool menu - would have been great to have a pizza or nachos or something like that to choose as well. We never ate in the buffet at night as it was only open from 7pm - which would have been helpful if that had been open earlier! All in all, cracking stay, cracking staff and would definitely return. Thank you!More
Fantastic hotel dubrovnik
Spent a week at this hotel. Went with our friends who stayed at the Argosy. Fantastic location, pool, food. The spa exceeded my expectations with hot & soft sauna, also a steam bath. Expected the room to be bigger and better view. Booked another room for the kids who received a double bed instead of twin. Don't know if I booked wrong or the hotel should have known, but I didn't push it and it was no big deal. Breakfast was fantastic and staff were great. Overall a great stay. Obviously we paid for it, but worth for this kind of 'hotel holiday'.More
great place to stay
Good hotel, Clean and tidy. good meals breakfast was included in our price good selection buffet only. hand to the local bus which takes your into the centre of Dubrovnik. total 5 minutes was away . Everything you want is at the hotel gym, pools ,etcMore
This is a beautiful hotel set in a stunning location. The bedroom was spacious with a huge bed, lovely and clean. There was plenty of food to chose at breakfast and evening meal. the pool are was lovely with a good sized pool both inside and out. We didn't have a problem getting a sunbed but I think if it had been slightly busier we would of. I used the gym a couple of times and there was no problem getting on any of the machines. We found the entertainment at night probably a little quieter than probably what were used to but you could go to the other hotel only a short walk away where it was sometimes a little bit more lively.More
First class in all respects
The outdoor pool area is large and spacious with ample sun loungers and protective umbrellas. There is also an adjacent inddor pool if required. The rooms are well-equipped, spacious and very comfortable, with a choice of a range of different pillows. The restaurant is large and the seating arrangements work well. The food is fresh and plentiful with a wide a varied range suitable for all, even the most fastidious of diners. We were entertained by some live music entertainment and welcomed each time by the restaurant manager. The hotel is one of a family of hotels in a large complex and the private beach is accesible via the hotel grounds of the adjacent sister hotel where there is free use of loungers, umbrellas and beach towels. The staff are very friendly and most helpful...without exception. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary during our four-day stay here as part of a longer organised tour and we were delighted with the extra touches such as celebratory flowers and a bottle of champagne in our room. This is indeed a first class hotel that is most worthy of high compliments. Thank you for a wonderful time.More
