I stayed here whilst travelling through Croatia and the hotel was very nice. I booked it literally by showing up and the price was amazing and staff were more than happy to accommodate us fore the night. The hotel has a secure car park with a barrier that the receptionist will open and let you into. Room was nice and comfortable. Room service was good and very quick. The breakfast is a nice spread with everything you can imagine. The staff can also make you eggs of your choice on request.More
We love staying in Babin Kuk as its close to Dubrovnik but away from the throngs of tourists. The area of Babin Kuk means you are close to the sea and promenade for walks. The hotel is business style and very clean with minimal decoration. Check in was fine and room was a good size. Staff helpful and courteous. We were pleased with quality of the food as we were half board and it was never too busy to obtain it. Only one bar open in October in the hotel so could be busy but we always found a seat. Overall a good place to stay just lacking a little character for me otherwise 5 star. More
We loved this hotel and it is worth the money. The staff is very attentive and nice and the rooms are well apointed. We chose this hotel based on recommendation from our friends and we had a wonderful time.More

4 star architecture 2 star service and food
I visited this hotel several times during last 7-8 years. Quality of service and food deteriorated constantly. Last time for New Year 2020 is probably my last. Originally I visited the hotel primarily due to its indoor swimming pool. However this time it was so overcrowded that it was impossible to swim, children jumping into the pool splashing others etc. No one stopping them, neither parents nor hotel staff. Also children playing football in the main hotel lobby. FOOD This is where quality really dropped the most. There are no scrambled eggs at self service stalls which is normal everywhere in the world. You can get an omelette if you stand in line of some sort of show cooking and queue for maybe 5-10 minutes. Bacon overcooked. All food is "on the cheaper side". You won't find veal or lamb, Only turkey chicken, or beef. Also if there is fish, only cheaper kinds with no taste. Side dishes, potatoes, vegetables prepared in amateurish way, no taste, very greasy etc. No fresh fruit juices only imitations. If you want juice from real fruit you pay for it. You also pay for bottled water over 30 kunas for 0,75 l, about 8-10 times the price of same quantity in supermarket. Poor selection of salami and cheese, again on the cheaper side. AIso, they obviously serve salami left from previous days since I noticed some not fresh even color changed slices. I remember having much greater choice including smoked salmon and 10 kinds of cheese in 3 star hotels elsewhere. Fruit, narrow selection and not ripe. Garbage/waste bin in bathroom too small, also won't open. Also it is positioned too close to clean towels. Selection of tv channels extremely bad, not even all local channels, others mostly news, no films, no even video on demand or similar service. No EPG on tv/remote. View from the terrace is obscured with a tower crane on nearby construction site(s) for the last 5-6 years. There is more but I'll make it short. This hotel turned into a 2 star cash grab.More
