The Southern Palms is a pink-painted retreat on a beautiful white-sand beach. You’ve got easy access to St Lawrence’s best bits, too.
The Southern Palms is a candy-pink, colonial-style hotel. It’s tucked among palms and lawns on the outskirts of St Lawrence Gap, just a few minutes’ walk from the nearest wine bars and restaurants.

Fantastic place - highly recommended
What a great place to stay. Right on the beach. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Rooms are very clean and have everything you could need - hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, colour tv, docking station to play your own music, fridge, iron and ironing board and kettle. Plenty of lovely white towels and pink beach towels, which you can change as often as you wish. There is also a range of beach goods - inflatables, boogie boards -all available free to guests. Tennis and windsurfing lessons available free. Mini golf with regular “tournaments”. Plenty of sun beds around each pool and also on the beach. Free lemon drinking water was a nice touch available by the pool every day (plastic glasses so you can also take them on to the beach). Entertainment several times a week and a great standard. Managers rum punch party with free rum punch (be careful it’s like rocket fuel). High tea by the pool every day with tea/coffee and a selection of muffins. Food in the restaurant/bar was very good quality. We were made to feel really welcome at all times, which was lovely. We even saw a turtle nest hatch on the beach which was amazing.More
excellent staff but parts of hotel looking bit tired
cannot fault the staff, a few appeared resentful at times and very curt but overall from Stephen at reservations to Jenni and Edric on the front desk all very helpful and accomodating, food pretty good standard too, but rooms looking a little tired and pathways the same, overall another great break that the whole family enjoyed thoroughly, thank you SPBC once again.More

It was done last minute and we had a Lovely Room with a Balcony looking at the Pool and also a sea view. Was very impressed. The Staff were friendly. We also ate there a few times which was very nice. We liked the afternoon Tea as well which was included in the price nice touch. Lovely beach and a Bonus to see a The Turtles. On our balcony we had a Fridge and a Kettle. Our Air Con was very good not too loud if you left it on in the night. Easy to get around with the Reggie buses. Went to Hunts Gardens well worth a trip. Also got the bus into Bridgetown which was a nice little trip.More

Another fantastic trip
No the fanciest or poshest on the island but definately the most relaxed, friendliest hotel sitting on the best location, close enough to bars and restaurants but far enough not to have the noise and footfallMore
