Another great stay
Having reviewed this hotel on several occasions, i have very little to add. The hotel was good enough to allocate us the same room we have occupied on all our previous visits which was much appreciated, thank you Adrian. There are still a number of staff members who have been part of the team for a long time so it was good to see all of them again and they have high standards. I have read some negative feedback in a number of reviews, I did see evidence of some under-par service however the longstanding staff members continued to look after us extremely well - thanks to Arden, Mark, Mark C, Deon, Anthony and Ether. Despite our love of the place, I have to agree with some comments in regards to being slightly expensive for some things. The soft drinks and local draft beer prices could do with being reviewed, they were overly expensive for not a lot. Perhaps an extension to the happy hours would encourage more guests to mingle ? I did not see too many people using the bar area very often - the hotel was extremely quiet at times however I got the feeling that many were not prepared to sit there for long because of the pricing, I overheard a number of comments relating to the prices..Hopefully these comments will be considered as constructive. We love this place, we will be back - next door at The House, the company appears to have invested heavily in refurbishing and upgrading the property and it shows, perhaps they could do the same for the Tamarind, it deserves it.More

Lovely hotel, excellent staff and has lots to offer to families
My family and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The breakfast was great, staff were friendly, kids club was fab, ice lollies served everyday at 3.30pm and complimentary water sports was worth it too! The beach was very clean and close to where the turtles swim and where the ship wreck is therefore it was easier to go there for snorkelling with boat tour companies. Our kids enjoyed a lot.More
I have to say this was one of the most relaxing holidays I have had. The staff were so helpful and made the effort to remember your name, they couldn’t do enough for you. Perfect location, jump on the bus to Holetown or a short taxi ride away. Cocktails were great, all you need is one or two of the potent rum punches and you’re set for the evening! The only negative I would say is that there isn’t a great variety of food to choose from in the restaurant. Daytime and evening menu are the same. Breakfast was great- Ether was a bundle of joy in the mornings- happy to make your eggs however you required. You must try all the water sports, even if they do try their best to get you in the water, just hold on for dear life! A fab holiday! More
