Crystal Cove teams a beachfront location with three grotto-inspired pools – complete with rock formations, waterfalls and a swim-up bar.
Crystal Cove is set in eight acres of tropical gardens on Barbados’ west coast, overlooking a white-sand beach. It’s got a peaceful feel, but is less than a 10-minute drive from Bridgetown, the island’s capital.
Tiered swimming pools wind through the grounds, accessorised with a bar hidden behind a waterfall. There’s a couple of restaurants, too, and activities like cookery classes and cocktail making.

Will be back next year!
I spent a wonderful weekend here! The food is wonderful, surroundings beautiful (get a room near the beach), but the best experience of all is with the staff. Friendly, helpful and very pleasant. They seem to be able to anticipate your needs. My room was comfortable and I laid in bed and watched and listened to the sea, very relaxing and therapeutic. My only negative is too many birds around while at the Drifters restaurant, and they are huge to me...lol, but it’s an outdoor restaurant so maybe that’s just how it is, Putting that aside, it was one of the best stays I have had in a while.More
Beautiful location, great all inc watersports!
We stayed here as a family of 8 in late August. We found the hotel and location both lovely. The staff are always aiming to please, especially John around the pool, Patrick sorting the watersports and most of the staff serving drinks in the bars. We found many staff had a great sense of humour too! The rooms are spacious and bright and the bathrooms are roomy, but would benefit from a little update. We all loved the food, especially when a la carte. Our only negatives are, being a larger group we were often given the circular table in reflections. This was quite a hot area ( & so uncomfortable at times) as no fan above and it was in a corner. So would benefit from a ceiling fan. We were given floor fans but they didnt reach the whole table. Our only other neg is from the beer drinking guys, who said they would have liked more Carib Bottled Beer to be available in all bars/restaurants. The Banks draft often seemed to go flat after being poured' which was a shame. But we certainly look forward ro returning to this beautiful spot.More
Lovely location....Nice Hotel, but fading amenities
Week spent a week here in August/September. Initial arrival, check-in and setting you up for your holiday very nicely handled. The rooms we had were very clean, the sea view was lovely and the beds were great, but the bathroom had seen better days. Can't fault the cleanliness it was just very tired and needed some new fittings. The shower taps, heavily abused, sinks with slight leak from the trap below etc. The two restaurants were both very good and did a nice range of food. We found the drifters outside restaurant much easier going than reflections. All the staff were particularly helpful and very attentive. There was one exception a lady called Hazel who managed the reflections restaurant seating. On several occasions she lack the basics of customer service and was almost rude. My opinion is the lady needs fresh customer service training or needs to get out ic the tourist industry. Quite surly and never looked pleased to welcome you to the restaurant. The rest of the staff were brilliant. The bar, the beach, tropical support and the gardeners...all great. The pools were nice but the pathway and tiling looked a little past it's best. So overall, a really nice stay, but bathrooms and pool areas need a little TLC. Would recomend it for families. More
Crystal Cove Barbados
Sea and beach are beautiful best I have seen water is clear and calm. Water sports provided were fantastic including a water taxi to sister hotels Tamarind, Waves & The Colony Club. The staff were very attentive but lacked overall coordination in terms of information given. One of the selling points for this chain is the dine around, where you can eat at sister hotels. We managed to eat at Waves twice with it being cancelled on many occasions because the quota was reached little did we know that families with young children got priority. We found that from Waves, Crystal Cove were not aware of this. The food from the buffet mostly was not edible due to it being left so long over cooked and tough. A la Carte was ok although the choice was very limited. The room we were given down by Drifters bar was very dated and nothing like the website pictures. We had to ask for our bed sheets to be changed as they were dirty and had not been changed by house keeping. Although there are negative views here we did enjoy the holiday mainly because of the location by the beachMore
We stayed at this beautiful, clean hotel in August, every staff member was so friendly and could not do enough to help you . Its very relaxing Hotel but enough things to do. The water sports was great and so easy to book. The drinks were really good ,especially all the cocktails. The two restaurants were both very good and the food was varied and plenty of different tastes. Would definately return to this hotel and would recommend it.The rooms were very spacious.More
