Once you get to the island of Djurgarden, you’ll visit the famous Vasa Museum. In the early 17th century, the Swedish battleship Vasa was the pride of Sweden’s navy. While preparing to set off on her maiden voyage she capsized and sunk. Fast forward 333 years and the ship was salvaged and restored to her original magnificence. Today, the resurrected Vasa is astonishingly well preserved. Take some time to photograph this authentic piece of history.
